Not true, I ran a 290 with my 295x2, worked fine for me and the 290 either stayed at it's original clocks or clocked itself up to match the 295x2, I've also done it with a 390x + 290x (different speeds) and i plan to do it with a 390x + 390 as well smile.gif

That's crazy cause i have gotten terrible results with differing gpu speeds...

First noticed it with my 290's...
If i clocked my better 290 to its max clocks (1175/1600), and then the lesser clocking one to its limits (1140/1450), and noticed during monitoring the usage, that it would get constant hitches, and have terrible stutters, and if i clocked them together, they woul perform perfect. Same thing with msi 390, and Asus 390 together....

And most recently,i tested it with a standard 7970 @ 925/1375, and a DD BE @ 1050/1500, and the performance was terrible until i clocked the standard to match the BE...

It was driving me nuts, and the only remedy was to clock- lock....

So you had NO issues at all? redface.gif

i received my sapphire 390x 2 days ago (i'll put my application forward for the club over the weekend, want some screenshots first) wooo

strangely the fans are always on :< 20-25% on idle, with temps of ~45degrees gpu (55 for vrm). i thought these are meant to be zero-fan based until about 60degrees? my case has decent cooling (fractal r4 with lots of fans) so wondering what's up.. i tried to set a custom fan curve in sapphire trixx (so that it was 0 until 50-60 and then up to 30-40%) but it would not apply it seemed :<<br /> any ideas guys

on the plus side, loving the speed of this beast! coming from a 7870 to this my games have really gotten so smoooooooooooooooooth :-D

Hi, you are using Windows 10 correct? Since I noticed that your score with mantle resulted in less average FPS in BF4 compared to using DX11.
I just switched to Windows 10, and my impression is that mantle seems to work less good in Dragon Age Inquisition than mantle on Windows 7. More stuttering and less smooth frames. (I also installed my new skylake set-up so I am not sure if that could also be the cause. I haven't tested it yet, since Rivaturner nor Fraps work with Dragon Age, but I saw you already posted an alternative which should work with mantle. +Rep
So has anyone else who switched to windows 10 noticed a fall in FPS and/or Frametimes when using mantle compared to DX11?

I am going to lose my mind with my system....

I have a friggin crazy memory leak in WIndows 10....

I noticed it yesterday.... it's some sort of driver issue or something....

Anyone have this issue with windows 10?

I never noticed it when using a 16GB RAM kit, but I switched over to my 8GB Trident-X kit, and now I get a constant 66% + RAM usage as soon as the system boots.

Before i upgraded to 16gb i had the same issue, i believe this was the thing i ended up doing -

Win+R
type regedit,
then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\Ndu and change Start value to 4. this will turn off data usage monitoring which may be bad for those with data quotes.

It might not be the exact issue you are having, but try it out

That was actually the first thing I tried....

No luck!

I am going to look a little deeper into it this evening.

I am also going to add my second trident-x kit to see if going 16GB stops the issue, though if it is using too much RAM, it's still an issue whether I can "afford" the RAM loss or not, so I'd like to get it figured out.

Windows 10 since it was released a few months ago. Upgraded from standard corsair vengeance 2 × 4 gb to 2 × 4gb of samsubg wonder RAM and never had any issues, memory leaks etc.

Have you gone to the Task Manager to see if anything pops out as using too much RAM?

Dealt with a Java memory leak at work the other day which was a nightmare, running any Java executable (including the uninstall!) would results in thousands of java processes running and maxing out the RAM usage, bringing the computer to a standstill. I know the pain it can cause :/
