This is how mine looks at the moment.

Here is the fan curve I use in AB for my Sapphire 390X:

I see a max temp of about 62c under gaming and about 64-65c under stress testing. What kind of case do you have? Might be room for improvement in there.

That curve is kinda aggresive, i like my card pretty quiet, but i have a CM Trooper case which is basically a piece of garbage, im gonna replace it soon, you cant pull air in from the front because of the way the drive cages are located. so right now my airflow is rather lackluster to say the least.

Your temps are pretty damn crazy for a 390x, but i guess they would get lower with those fan speeds smile.gif Most of the reviews i have read of the MSI 390 the temps under load hover around 73-75, while Jayztwocents had his card at around 80 overclocked.

My fans hit about 65% max speed and I can barely hear them to be honest. I also have 6 case fans, 2 intakes on the front, 1 on the side as well as 3 exhausts, 2 on the top and 1 on the back.. My bottom front case fan is a recently purchased EK Vardar F3. Saw them on jayztwocents and wanted to give them a shot. I went with a static pressure in that fan position because of the HDD cage right there that it has to push through. I noticed my entire system temp dropped by about 2 degrees Celsius which is crazy for just adding a case fan! I love the Vardar fan, will definitely be using more of them in the future. I had a Sapphire R7 260X before this card and had it OCed as far as it would go with 100% fan speed and that thing would regularly hit 78c. My 390X totally stock (with stock fan curve) only would hit about 60-61c. here is the stock fan curve it came with

My 390X is pretty quiet up to about 70% before it starts getting intrusive to me. At a 100% it sounds like a jet engine lol

Can i ask what kinda case you are using? Im thinking about getting a Phanteks Enthoo Pro, seems like a nicely priced and very well build case with good airflow. When i read reviews of the Sapphire 390x you have they atleast come nowhere near your temps, but i guess alot of factors weigh in, im 99.9% sure mine are related to bad airflow, right now im pretty sure my noctua fans are just circulating hot air inside my case smile.gif Also thinking about taking the card down a PCI-E slot, have it in the top one right now and it is so damn close to my NH-D14

I have a CM HAF 912. Been pretty happy with it. I read those reviews too and I was expecting to be somewhere between the 70-75c range with my 390X. I have been pleasantly surpised at the cooling performance. I think Sapphire makes a heck of a cooler!

Yeah i actuallu would have gone with the Sapphire card myself, but its not a very well known brand here in Europe, or atleast not in Denmark, so i would have to pay 50$ more for the Sapphire over the MSI, did not really seem worth it frown.gif

Oh I see, I didn't know that. From what I have seen MSI makes a damn good card too. Your English is very good by the way.

Thanks smile.gif but yeah im fine with the MSI card so far, when i get my case situation fixed im sure the temps will go down a bit, with the side panel off they drop by 8-10c.

Have same case and I can tell you that having only rear fan as outtake (intake - 2 front, 2 top) not only lowered slightly temps, but also reduced dust in the case (which already was nearly non existent thanks to demciflex filters on intakes and on side without fan).
Thanks to positive pressure dust is not sucked into case any more throught front prefored vents over hard drives cages.

So are you crossing it with the 290/x you just got?
