Without touching anything, I suppose? If so, awesome. I may be able to get the 1700+MHz I want out of my memory after all. Thanks friend! smile.gif

Interested in pulling the trigger on a r9 390x currently have a 270x, I read some people were having issues with the drivers and such, has most of this been resolved? It would be going in a new skylake build I made.

Yes, that is completely stock right down to the stock fan curve. When I load my overclock I am able to get 1100/1750 core and ram with the stock voltage. Was pretty pumped to see a 7000 GHz effective memory clock! Just the memory overclock made a nice improvement in fps. Between 3-6 fps. Gives me a memory bandwidth of 448GB/s biggrin.gif Love this card, what a beast.

I have had no problems with drivers at all. However I don't use beta drivers though. This is my second AMD card, not sure where the whole "amd drivers are bad" thing comes from. I've used both nVidia and AMD/ATI and they both have bad drivers sometimes. Just the nature of things I guess.

This GPU-Z image is from a Sapphire 390 Nitro review.

Review page link:- http://www.legitreviews.com/dirt-rally-performance-review-geforce-gtx-970-versus-radeon-r9-390_167054/2

I have also a) noted it in image posted in threads b) I can also post relevant screenshot of section from rom and if you ref the Hawaii Bios editing thread you can verify it.

This information is also correct for Sapphire 390X Nitro.

LOL, nice to know though! smile.gif I was not sure if the cards clocking to the lower speeds was true or not. Maybe my memory is reading 1500 in FS cause that's the best the 290x can do without adding voltage? The 290x started to get unstable past 1425 in CCC with power limit turned up to +50 when I did a quick OC on it. This is my 1st crossfire setup so I have a lot to learn yet. thumb.gif

Quick update: My BEAUTIFUL Powercolor 390 came in on Tuesday and have been enjoying Hearts of Stone on it this week! Card runs fantastic, yet to see it break 77C in games, FAR cooler than the Strix. I'll be putting it through its paces and overclocking it this weekend!

Hey everyone. I'm actually new to the site. I wish I would have joined earlier because so far I am loving it. I still have to finish adding in my rig details but I definitely want to join the club. Love this GPU more and more with each new game I play. I have 1x 140mm and 3x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm fans for case cooling and a 140mm Arctic Freezer CPU Cooler. Thanks everyone! Looking forward to getting to know you all! biggrin.gif I'll add my OC numbers below along with Unigine Valley and 3D Mark Fire Strike Benchmark scores.

OC Numbers:

Core Clock 1135 Mhz
1625 Mhz Memory Clocked

Unigine Valley Benchmark:

FPS: 64.8
Score: 2713
Min FPS: 30.1
Max FPS: 125.3

1920x1080 8xAA

3D Mark (Fire Strike 1.1)

OVR Score: 11,178

aah, i was wondering about this. same thing happened to me (sapphire 390x), the sapphire trixx software showed +50mv on the voltage and i thought i did it without remembering ^^ glad to know it's not just me and that they did that by default haha.
