I would suggest Valley and/or Firestrike on 3dmark. Stay away from furmark

Its a lower binned version. If you don't plan to OC then it would be fine. Otherwise... Get the better one.

Unigine Valley & Heaven would be best for stressing, 3DMark Firestirke would be best for benching (the scores are kept in a database & comparable with others) IMO.

Perfectly fine, can mod fan curve in AB if you are concerned. BTW my XFX inquiry said the XFX 390X card can run in the mid 90 C range and still be replaced by warranty if it were to break. My hits 82 max on some scenarios with stock cooling in a NZXT 440. Would recommend new thermal paste.

The info I got from the Stilt states never to go over 1.10v ie +100mv in MSI AB.

MSI AB doesn't allow more, unless there is a command line switch that can be added to shortcut properties to increase it, just like the limit on GPU core voltage can be raised.

Other OC apps I don't know about as don't use them.

Recently an owner in the 290/X owners thread posted it helped attain better OCs on a poor clocking card, with myself I found it had no effect on my card's OC ability. SO I'm guessing depends case by case.

Even if a bit late, may I ask what the Stilt told you? My card seems to struggle with memory overclocking, especially after the 15.10 driver. I've reverted back to 15.7.1 and it's somewhat better, but it still takes +55mV AUX to do 1700MHz, and even that is semi-stable and causes my core overclocks to crash easier. I mean, it takes like an extra 5mV for the core to be stable compared to what was stable without getting the memory so high.

I know I'm getting deep into "it's f-ing stupid" territory, but I'm kind of disappointed I can't get high memory clocks, especially seeing others hitting 1750MHz with ease. redface.gif

Wow, so I posted a few days ago after ordering my pair of Alphacool nexxos gpx 309 m02 blocks from Aquatuning in Germany. I immediately had buyers remorse, as another member found them at a US Vendor and they were actually in stock! Needless to say, I was pretty bummed out. Yesterday I got an email that they had shipped out from the warehouse in Germany. This morning I woke up, checked the tracking.... They are already through US customs in Philly. Holy crap! How could this possibly be? MY order for the rads and fittings / pump from Performance pcs only moved from Cocoa florida to Orlando Florida in the time it took my two waterblocks to go through customs twice and cross an ocean!

I am blown away at the service and shipping from Aquatuning, I was hesitant to purchase internationally and wanted to wait for a domestic vendor. I did pay for express shipping, but it wa sonly 3 dollars more htna the standard shipping. Just letting you all know in case you are on the fence about ordering from them.

What make is your card again? It seems that the Sapphire cards in particular are for some reason more likely to hit 1700+ Mhz memory speeds. I have a Sapphire 390X and I was able to hit 1750 on memory with no voltage bump. But other makes don't seem to fare so well in this regard as far as I can tell. Not sure why hmmsmiley02.gif

It's an MSI 390x. Sapphire cards have 50mV added to their AUX voltage by default, so that's a thing. But even so, I can't go too far. Bummer...

My MSI core clocks great, the memory not so much. My XFX was the opposite. I wouldn't worry about it.
