I love my Powercolor PCS+ 390 more and more. This thing OC's like a monster without much voltage increases. I guess I won the silicon lottery with mine. Look at those temps. Man oh man that is beautiful.

Nice. But I'd pull the Power Limit to max even if the card just runs stock. It does improve things.

Any chance to try the Memory to 1625 or 1750? If it allows you, it'd be better too.

As soon as my new PSU arrives from EVGA, I'll be making another push at it. I'm going to raise the power limits, TDP, and TDC on the stock bios, and not change anything else, see if it doesn't help a little bit. Probably won't, but.....worth a shot, anyway.

I switched to a top rated cooler master v 1000 watt gold n the whine from the psu disappeared. So its corsair hx series screwing up. But the gtx 970 still whines. I finally shut the dam nvidia whine ul by getting a sapphire nitro r9 390. Currently the best of best for no whine, kool n ultra quiet amd card.

hmmm interesting maybe you got a dud? i have the RM series and it's been great, don't hear it at all. same with the msi390, no whine at all

and i've experienced coil whine, it's terrible!

Navjack are you running the memory timing modded bios. I made one for my card but haven't flashed it yet. What can I expect in benching and real world performance?

o and did you go with the 1250 strap timings?

Probably 1 fps in real world but 1fps in 3DMark will help scores.

Seems fine to me. I am getting 10450 with my Powercolor 390 1100 / 1575. I have a 3570k. The 6600k scores about 300 points higher than a 3570k.
