[Official] AMD R9 390/390X Owners Club - Page 622

I wonder if there are any properly good 200mm fans out there that can push air well enough through filters.

If I keep my case open, ambient temps are around 24.1C while exhaust temp is 29.4C from the radiator now that I reversed the fans.
If I close my case, exhaust temp rises to 29.9C.

I did get my VRM1 to drop down from 75-76C to around ~73C. Still could do with a few degrees lower temps.

As an owner of the XFX Double Dissipation, I'd say go for the DD version. it never went above 85C on a max overclock, but I'm on liquid now.

im not a very smart gpu overclocker but my pc doesnt like raising the power limit at all. so far playing around i can get 1160/1600 at +75mv and power limit at 0 on my msi gaming 390. it was stable long enough to run firestrike:

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/10739802

this is only my first run at finding its max oc though...will try for higher soon.

Well, don't know if this has been posted yet, but to anyone looking for a full cover waterblock for the MSI variants, EK finally released one. A bit late but, still good that they've done it.

You think this version of it would get hot then over the DD version?

The case I'm going to use is the GD09 by Silverstone. It's an ATX HTPC, so I figured blower style would be better for temperatures for the case and the rest of the components.
