hey guys do u have the right to rma a card if it artifacts very rarely @ stock settings?

for example if I play a game and see maybe 1 or 2 quick artifacts flash on screen in a 1 hour gaming session?

also the card doesnt overclock at all if I put +10mhz on the core the artifacts come much more frequently.

my worry is that I dont want to rma the card and they dont find artifact at stock settings in their testing as it doesnt happen all the time.... id hate to be told they wont rma and they send it back to me

If I had a card that artifact at stock I would RMA. I would make detailed account, videos, etc. Caveat being knowing the rest of your system is not an issue.

For example no OC on CPU/RAM, OS has no issue which would lead to artifact (ie corrupt install, etc), no known issue that the app/game loading GPU is known not to have bug causing the artifact.

I would say yes. Stock artifacting is no good. As it gets older it will get worse almost certainly.

Dude, my card (Not the greatest overclocker by any stretch of the imagination) doesn't artifact like that at heavy overclocks. That's definitely cause for RMA. What I would do to make sure is to try and reseat the cards and their respective PCIe power connectors and maybe, if you're able to, test them in another system, just to make sure. Also, make sure to document the process if you do.

However, I'd say none of this is needed. There is definitely something wrong there and you are entitled to a replacement. I would RMA both cards too. "Doesn't artifact AS MUCH" doesn't cover me, it artifacts at stock settings, period.
