I think with 3 cards on full throttle and a 5930K, I am not seeing 10C water on top of the ambient air. Pretty handy when benching. biggrin.gif

I still have 2 480 rads yet to be used as I am still to finish my other bencher. It can house 2 - 480s and 2 - 360s.

Really eager to test those HWLabs GTXs

Well with an ambient of 12°C id be surprised to see 10°C of water haha.

Vulkan is pretty incredibly promising. In dota i get near 250 fps with it compared to 160 in dx12. It's at least partially a cpu bottleneck. Too glitchy though.

Coming from Catalyst 15.10 (which is my go to benching driver) to Crimson 16.7.2 (I avoided Crimson due to the black screen after reboot issues when pushing things a lot) in some key areas in 3DMark11, I am seeing over 10fps of improvement! That is massive!

390 - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/11405546

290X - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/11075578

Sad to say my new card doesn't clock so well. But hey, still way better than a 290X clock to clock!

What kind of improvements in Firestrike?

16.7.2 driver doesn't keep OC clocks after a reboot? I freaking dread this issue. Still using 15.11.1 as a daily driver because of that

Prob why afterburner still exists. Even with AB sometimes ive had issues with it not keeping OCed clocks after a reboot or sometimes even a regular boot.

10C on top of 12C, means 10C over 12C ambient. thinking.gif

No? biggrin.gif

hmm. Actually, you're better off with the driver resetting to stock clocks after the reboot. For obvious reasons.

Yea with those cold temps i can't see your water getting past 20°C especially if its air conditioned.

Found these two lists. Probably a list of games in which my 390 is going to crush at 1440 resolution, right?

I meant I want the driver to reset ALL values like catalyst did. With crimson if my card crashed with overclocked values, windows would boot with OC clocks minus the voltage = blackscreen
