CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 85

All of the bioses contain support for Hynix and Elpida modules.

All 290X cards should have dual bios available, so trying them won´t basically cost you anything even if it doesn´t work for your card.

My card is like the card on image. Is these bios good for me?

Thanks

Yes is compatible, should be good for you.

Do benches with your original bios and then flash one of Stilt's and bench to compare.

290X Sapphire Reference, Hynix Memory works great 1075-1250 Mhz - 25M. (Engine - Memory) .
Temps similar to Stock under water. VRM and GPU.

I tried 1375 Memory, but I get "glitches" and graphic problems in Unigine Heaven. Temps was okey in all the test.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
Been running this bios (1075-1375 +25) for quite a while now on my 290x Tri-X OC and extremely happy with it.

I want to modify the fan control values, but because I'm not using windows, I can't use trixx/afterburner/etc. to control the fan as the values in these bioses are too aggressive for my liking.
With the stock bios, I could use hawaiifaneditor to modify the fan profile in bios.
However, it seems whatever change stilt made to this bios is not compatible (it complains and says "invalid value found").

I wanted to know if there is an easy way to revert JUST the fan control/profile bits of the bios, while keeping all of the other tweaks.
Thanks

@UX12

If you are using hackintosh, fan doesn't work with bios control. You have to edit config.sys
Other OS I don't know.

What about your temps with that bios?

Update #2

Been running M375P.bin (+37.5mV offset, 1075MHz / 1375MHz) for months. Elpida memory is holding out fine, believe it or not. I keep these cards at 50+% power in overdrive and they run great (clocks stay maxed with no artifacts or crashes). Now, it's time for AMD to release decent drivers.

Lower RAM clock to see when it doesn't glitch, then modify rom to have same value.

Or

As you said "1075-1250 Mhz - 25M" are you using the 1075 1375 rom with 25mv offset? if so perhaps use the 31mv offset one or 50mv.

Should more MV increase too much the volts?
Because, I'm using the video card for editing video. Works hours rendering...

Depends what you categorise as too much.

ASIC profiling is going on to set a GPU's VID, each ROM is not tailor made to a GPU, so some "auto" functions are going on to "set" it up.

Through reading The Stilts posts and some of my own bios modding it's clear there are 3 factors which dictate GPU VID / VDDC.

There also needs to be distinction between VID and VDDC, VID is what voltage GPU is set to then "PowerTune" / Driver / loading app (plus some other factors a) I don't understand b) don't know c) can't explain) determine VDDC, what the GPU's voltage is operating at.

The 3 factors:-

i) Leakage ID (aka ASIC Rating in GPU-Z)

ii) Default ROM GPU clock, as default ROM GPU clock rises GPU VID decreases, which means VDDC lowers (in a way)

iii) if your card's ROM or voltage chip has a global GPU voltage offset

You can check what your cards DPM 7 VID is by using The Stilt's VID app, VDDC can be checked by just monitoring via software app or DMM.

From reading Stilt's posts and some discussions via PMs I've had, his ROMs are not set to be "over volting" by more than what some manufacturers do.

For example I've seen PowerColor ROMs to have +50mv in them from factory.
