Do you have any recommendations for a custom fan curve?

Changing temp limit to 91c isn't going to change the BIOS set 83c, it's just a safety measure so you don't cook your GPU.

Has anyone physically felt the heatsink of a idle card, man they are hot, I could see how a G10 would cool them much better as the fan is always spinning..

You could just use set your own custom fan curve so the fans start spinning even when the GPU is below 60C. When I was air cooling the card I had them at 40% at idle, they were pretty much completely silent, and kept the card at a cool 35C.

REALLY? wow ok kool thought i got one that was too low and had to spend another $100,000 grand for water cooling.

Ahhh...alright - should I prioritize power or temp? (the arrow in MSI Afterburner)

Just leave the power slider all the way up.

Download heaven benchmark.

Increase core from +10 or +20 and run the benchmark until you see artifacts or you get a driver reboot. Reboot computer, Then back off 10 from there and test again.

Do the same for memory, but you can do +50.

Once you find the stable core and memory, try them both together

I have power at 109%, +150, +500. This is with a H55 cooler though.

Alright guys here is where I am currently at:

Power: 109
Core Clock: +130
Memory Clock: +0 (I haven't done memory clock yet)

So I have been using Unigine Valley to stress test and I am getting the following:

Voltage: 1.199
Core Clock: 1484
Memory Clock: 3506 (remember I haven't done anything with this yet)
GPU Temp: 73*C at 100% fan speed

I have a few questions:

1. Should I increase my voltage at all?
2. What is an acceptable max voltage?
3. Should I run any other benchmarks other than Valley?
4. Is there a spreadsheet somewhere with others' overclock settings so I can sort of compare?

I am guessing that once I start pushing more voltage through this card, I will start decreasing its life - which I am not sure I want to do.

The life decrease isn't going to make your card die in a year. I don't even believe anyone had held a card long enough to even prove how much it sheds life. Normal usage youd get a decade or more. Nvidia gives 15 years to their workstation cards. So OCing/Voltage increase prob 5-6years. Though i doubt running the max allowed stock(1.23?) bios voltage would harm anything more then the stock 1.187mV. Heaven would be a better benchmark imo for finding suitable temperature limits for gaming. Granted most games will run considerably lower temperatures then benchmarks.

So you are crashing at 130?

Hmm...maybe I should stick with stock voltage then? I wish there was a spreadsheet on here that showed everyone's OC settings so I could compare.

I am downloading Heaven as we speak.
