So are any of you guys X31 and G10 users? I think I'm actually getting really good temps considering I have a H440, it maxes at 58 degrees.

Yea, I'd remove it. Put it in a ziplock bag or some plastic wrap. Like ZWingerRyRy said, the only possible purpose of it is to better secure the top heatsink. With the G10 it's just hanging there not doing much.

I'm surprised you've been able to use your card without it falling off and into your 92mm fan.

Pretty normal from a 120mm. The 140mm maxes about 10c less.

Yea, that adapter has so few shipping options. I was luckily able to find one on ebay that shipped quickly.

I've got a 500gb 850 evo coming in that I'll use as a drive to keep games on. When that comes in I'm going to pull my system and install that 140mm Noctua fan on my H90. I'm also going to put my card on two difference PCI-E power lines instead of running it off a single one. Not sure that it should make a difference, but, running off of two lines shouldn't hurt.

Depends on your fan settings really.

I got a question about TDP… can you guys help a brother out.

A few weeks ago I picked up the MSI 980ti gaming card and was testing out bf4. With the On-screen display enabled in afterburner I've noticed that the boost speeds on the core would drop when there is a big explosion. Looking at GPU-Z it’s indicating that my PerfCap Reason was Pwr. So I decides to raise my Power limit to 109% in afterburner.

In some areas in BF4 the perfcap is still indicating that 109% is not enough.

Is it safe to rise and keep your TDP to 109%? Will this harm the card in anyway if it’s drawing a constant power of 109% while gaming? I'm fairly new to over clocking and I don’t want to damage this card.

So far I've only increase the TDP and slight modified the Core and Memory.

Thanks
