Try 1455 core and 2000 memory first and go from there. For comparison, I have mine set at 1481 core and 2000 memory but using my own bios mod. I am also using stock msi cooler like you. Hope that helps.

Finally starting to see 980Tis run for low 400, really tempting to pick one up. Anyone else have experience with the white or LE 6G in SLI want to chime in?

Guys, I have a question: I`m thinking about upgrade to 1080, but I see price for 980ti (ex. EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti HYBRID ) only 519$, maybe buy second 980ti will be better than spend 700$ for new 1080, because old 980ti (which I already have) I have to sell.

So, will be waiting for advice thumb.gif
My power supply 750WT, I hope it`s enough.

I'm looking into SLI as well but I'm just waiting for the right deal, it doesn't look like they'll drop much more than $400 though. Really kicking myself for not pulling the trigger back when the better cards were going for $370.

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to modify my voltage to max out at 1250mV but GPU-Z is stating it's at 1237mV at load, regardless of what I change my voltage to in MSI Afterburner.

Please see attached picture. The BIOS on the right is mine, the BIOS on the left is a random different custom BIOS. My BIOS actually looks like it's supposed to max out at 1250mv stock, and not 1237mV. I tried making that number higher for my bios, but didn't help make voltage any higher at load.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but all the custom BIOS's I find online all have the three different sets of sliders in voltage table. My BIOS only seems to have one slider (circled in red)

I noticed my card was made a month or so after the example card on the left. Is it possible there's a hardware lock to 1237mV? Anyone ever see this? Is there something I have to unlock somewhere?

I want to avoid flashing a "Random different BIOS" due to obvious reasons. It's not the same revision as mine and I'd like to not risk breaking anything..

Thank you.

Probably a little too late for me. Sold my 2x fury strix then got these. Got it when it was $370.

I think i got lucky with ASIC quality too.

Man I am so salty I missed the $370 on these though I'm thinking of just settling for the $400 price point. What kind of clocks are you getting on those goldens in SLI?

1070 is out now so i kinda missed out on that. thinking.gif

I tried to mod the bios and this is what I got.

FIRE STRIKE 1.1
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9235420

FIRE STRIKE EXTREME 1.1
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9235542

FIRE STRIKE ULTRA 1.1
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9235707

BIOS

3dmarks shows 1443 but stays consistent 1430. I haven't done any OC yet, well the bios i did is the "OC".
I can't go too crazy till my GT 2150 arrives to replace my intake fans. My case is too tight and I need to manage my airflow 1st.
My S/N is right next to each other too which is pretty cool and rare for me, same stock bios, so i just modded it.
