Yeah its got good contrast. Worked out well in the end.

So I have one more week left from my summer semester, and the fall semester starts August 24th. I'm hoping my case comes at least a week or two before the 24th, which means I can possibly finish it before I start back to school. Geeeeez, I can't wait any longer.

Alright guys and gals. Today marks my 5 weeks from when I initially placed the order. I also got one final down and one more to go. I'm so bored at home, I decided to draw up how I think I want my tubing to go. Here's a picture I drew out using an image of an SMA8 I took of google biggrin.gif For now, I may do just one D5, as it would be an additional $185 for the XSPC D5 270 Pump combo (for the love of God, I sure hope it fits in the case), and an additional $50 for the Bitspower D5 mod kit, as well as ~$40 in fitting frown.gif So, here is the plan if I go with two D5's.

Now I now it's not the best drawing using paint, but I tried my best thumb.gif The white represents the tubing, red for the Titan X's, and black for the pump/res' and radiators. I'm trying to stay away from all the similar looking builds, especially JayTwoCents Skunkworks, because that's the one that's notably famous for the SMA8. I'm going to try and imitate how I currently have the CPU tubing from my 750D

Please, let me know what you all think about this.

Oh, as far as the one loop with dual pumps goes, I will do all flexible tubing underneath in the bottom compartment.

Edit* or this one.

I would use the intake of the CPU block just as I have it in my 750D, except have it go straight down in the misplate via passthrough, and the output on the CPU go up, and following the Intake port tube. I know it shows different in the photo, but the two tubes would be in front of one another, meaning one by the mobo tray side, and the other in front of it toward the windows

There's been a lot of talk lately about someone copying someone else and "there's only so many ways to make a _____."
Well, there's only so many ways to run tubing in a SMA8. I finally settled on this:

I know a lot of people may say, "Hey, that looks just like Skunkworks!" I decided that I just don't care. I had mine done another way before and didn't like it so I changed it to what it is now. I seriously doubt it will be this way forever. biggrin.gif

Oh, and one thing I did do was no soft tubing at all. I decided I'd heard enough about plasticizer so I shouldn't have that problem.

Thanks. That's good to hear.
I am my own worst critic. I am never satisfied.

It's just so difficult. And with the way you have your CPU tubing to the pump, that's exactly what my original plan was because that's how I have it in my 750D, and it would save me money because I wouldn't need a pass through and additional fitting. I think I'm going to do it how I have the second version I showed. I do want to do the GPU like how every does it though because I really like that clean look, plus the fact that I already bought the 30mm rad lol

It appears that my second image isn't loading. Here it is again

Edit* and what makes it difficult is that it makes me feel like I'm cheating by "copying" what others do. But I'll find a way to make it "my own"

I also love your build. Very nice
