No. Most radiators do not mind which port is used as inlet and work equally well either way. However, SOME RADIATORS DO have an optimal inlet port. They will still work but less efficiently. They are sometimes marketed as "optiflow" or something like that in the product literature, but it is not always clear. Do your research and read the product literature! For example here is one optiflow radiator (a very good one) that I know about:
http://hardwarelabs.com/nemesis/nemesis-products/nemesis-gtx/nemesis-360gtx#dimensions

The GTS you can use either port as inlet.

Remember that you are cooling the vital components, not the inside case air...

If you exhaust hot case air though the rads, it increases the coolant temp and therefore the temp of the components!

A single exhaust fan, at the rear, does work. If you have trouble with trapped hot air in certain areas of your case, get an inside spot fan to move that trapped air to the exhaust fan... Are you water cooling your VRM's? If not, do so or at least put a cooling fan on those...

I went through this same issue a year ago until a helpful OCN member helped me out on fan placement and water cooling...

I wish I could find the posts that explain the details of this...

Alright guys. I have a massive update.

Sorry, but not massive as in the case has arrived ... frown.gif

I just spent $380 over at PPCS for my three Vardar ER fans for the RX360 rad along with some fittings and... AND.... Wait for it... AND... AND... A second XSPC D5 PWM photon 270 biggrin.gif

I don't even want to count up how much this PC has cost me over the past year and a half. Now I'll probably have only one more order because I may need some more fittings, and tubing, as well as the 140 vardars when released.

Good luck with that!
