This 1300 G2 is absolutely driving me nuts lol. I currently have it set up outside my 750D and its twice as loud as my SP120's at 1000 RPM. Its completely hooked up to my PC and its nice that I can overclock the crap out of my titans... But the noise. The noise is growing on me haha. my ultimate goal is to keep all fans below 1000 RPM to keep this PC almost close to quiet.

Once it's inside it honestly shouldn't be loud at all.

I literally can't tell my 1300G2 is even on with my fans almost all the way off. You have to understand, you're going from, what? 10 fans? 12 fans? How many will the SMA8n have? 24? You're adding more low speed fans. And not all the same type. You'll still hear the fans more than your PSU once it's locked down inside.

I sure hope so. It's currently running along side 8 SP120's at 1000 RPM and the 1300 G2 is louder than those. And I'm only using that speed because it kind of matches the G2, so why not just leave them at a higher rpm lol. I'm hoping the case and all will kind of "silence" the G2 a little bit. But true... I'll be running 12 SP120's, 3 Vardar 120ER's, 4 Vardars 140ER's and maybe 2 AF120's. That's 20-21 fans.

I know I'm sounding a bit ridiculous, but when I just browse the Internet or even work on homework when I do, all I hear is the G2 fan. I am running it out of the case, so I wouldn't doubt if the case dampens the sound a bit along with the additional 12 fans.

I only hear Sp120 and Noctua Nf12 buffering noise. I just got my AP-14's in and if/when the rest of my parts show up, I'll be installing. I can't wait. 50cfm @ 21db vs 37.2cfm @ 26db...

By my experience, the different fans in close proximity to each other buffet and make more noise than them alone. So, don't be surprised if your fans set @ 800rpm sound like they are running at 1100rpm for some reason.

Alright guys and gals. I'm putting an "OFFICIAL" limit on my build right now. A price limit that is. I just calculated the entire price for this build (which also includes my 750D build because all I'm really doing is upgrading the case and watercooling parts) and it has just been too much for a person like me to be spending. Now I know this isn't all for just one build and spent at one time, but still. My Price limit is $7000. At the moment, and this is just a rough estimate (but close), I have spent $6800 over the past year and a half. That price includes stuff that I have sold and deducted (780 waterblocks, terminals, and such). Now I still have my Ax860, 750D, and a radiator to sell, so my price will drop at least $300, making it about $6500 spent total.

I know I shouldn't be calculating this haha, but it's been driving me crazy not knowing how much has gone into this build.

With that being said, I still have a few parts to purchase. The main parts left are the 140ER Vardar fans from EK (4) and the additional Ice White Pastel coolant. To save money, I will be reusing the old coolant from my 750D build, and adding new coolant because this new loop will be about 3-4 liters. I still need the flex tubing in the bottom compartment as well, and I will definitely be getting some DemciFlex Filters. I have decided to run all the rad fans (which is basically all the fans) as intake, so it will give me the coolest and lowest temps I can get. This is all thanks to @JourneymanMike

So overall, I'm estimating about an additional $300 to finish off this build. And to be 100% honest and real with myself, I wont be doing anymore upgrades in the near future. That's why I went with two Titan X's which will last me about 5 years (I'm okay with 1080p ultra in 5 years thumb.gif lol)

And on a side note, tomorrow is my 7 weeks from placing the order on the SMA8. I see an SMA8 in my arms within the next week biggrin.gif

I sent in a support ticket regarding the 1300 G2 early this morning. I'm sorry, but the fan was running at full blast since I've hooked it up to the PC. It sounds the same even when I game with my Titans at 1.274v and my 4770k at 1.31v.

I emailed EVGA and asked them what I can do. They automatically gave me a complimentary upgrade to an Advanced RMA and will cross ship it once I give them my Credit card. I didn't even ask for an RMA, because I really don't even know if this is how the G2 really sounds on idle. It's louder than my SP120's (7 total) at 1000 RPM. I'm going to give it a shot, because maybe the PSU is faulty or something. Everyone else states how quiet it is, and that it audible but not bad. Mine is audible, and bad lol.

You should have never counted Steezy, I wont let myself count on mine but I know its easily hitting 8000+.

Thats what I love about EVGA, their customer support has always been right there when Ive had issues. Hopefully the PSU was just faulty and the new one sounds better.

When do you think you will start assembly?

What I love about EVGA is that I didn't even ask for an RMA, but more of a solution. And it could possibly be because the PSU is just sitting on my desk. I might even just wait to accept the RMA and wait for my case. Once its assembled in the case, it might be dampened by the case and such.

As for the price, I counted up approximately $2300 for watercooling. Not to bad especially for what im using; 4 radiators, GPU blocks, 2 pumps'res', at least $300-400 in fittings, and almost $300 in fans.

I should be able to start assembling by next week. Its almost midnight, so technically my case was ordered 7 weeks ago tonight. But there was an additional 1 week delay, so maybe 2 more week left. I'm just hoping I receive the case before the 23rd, because I start back to class on the 24th.

Oh, I see. But I will be running only one loop. The second pump/res is mainly for "looks" as well as more power for flow. Im using a 560GTS which Is a restrictive rad, so that extra pump will come in handy (even if its not needed ahha). I posted a pic a while back showing that the pumps will be ran in series.

So Steezy, how are going to make it work? Will it be something like res1->pump1->res2->pump->yada yada->res1... or res1->pump1->some rads and some blocks->res2->pump2->rest of rads and blocks->res1 ? I am asking cause i was considering a dual pump/res setup in one loop with thehttp://www.frozencpu.com/products/11252/ex-pmp-100/Bitspower_G_14_Thread_Dual_D5_Mod_Top_-_POM_Version_BP-2D5TOPP-BK.html (it looks awesome) but i did not know how to make this work.
