Maybe sell the EVGA and get another Corsair AX Series PSU? headscratch.gif
I love my AX860 because it was very nice to me lol. Never had any issues with it. Only problem is that it isn't enough for my overvolted Titan X's. I would've like to get an AX1200i, but that's $249.99 WHEN ITS ON SALE AND WITH A MIR. I don't really want to be spending more money that I really need.

I have 45 days to submit my credit card as collateral (because they gave me a complimentary upgrade to an advanced RMA). My case will definitely arrive within that time, so I'm going to test it out in the case before I send it in. Something tells me the case will dampen our the sound a little, especially when the intake fan on it will be facing the wall. It's currently outside my case next to me about 1 foot away, so that might be the problem. If the PSU is that bad, then I'll ask for a refund or see what I can do. It is a sexy PSU though biggrin.gif

Great PSU's. I love Seasonic with a passion but, I don't like the price point always. Nor do I like the Cable sleeving options at the moment. MODDIY has a few but it's expensive as hell.

I vote for SeaSonic. Extra cost is worth it. Even against the EVGA.

@SteezyTN you should also consider the Antec HCP 1300, it seems to bee a very good psu. The 1300G2 should be sleaved with the existing cables because of the capacitors. The custom cables remove them and as @shilka told me, you will lose the ripple suppression the capacitors offer.

As far as PSU goes, I'm keeping the 1300G2 until I see what it sounds like on my case. It's very possible that the sound will be dampened by the case itself, and that fact that it will be suppressed because it will be facing the wall and surrounded by radiators.

I'm still within EVGA's RMA (45 days to send it in). If it's still bad, I might just ask for a refund and buy something else. If I could get a great price on the AX1200i, that would be my first choice.

The issues involved with overclocking performance and silence is rare or next to impossible. I'd settle on a good solid 1000rpm fan and just go from there.

The noise is growing on me haha. my ultimate goal is to keep all fans below 1000 RPM to keep this PC almost close to quiet.

Told you!

I modded the Noctua 140mm into mine, and it's whisper quiet now smile.gif
