i tested my bitspower tubing (rigid) with my EK-HD fittings and they fit pretty snug. at first i was having problem with the GPU link, but i was forgetting to wet the o-rings before i pushed the tubing in. after i wet the rings, everything started connecting a whole lot smoother.

as for the soft tubing underneath, im using the same 7/16" x 5/8" tubing that i had left over from a previous build. and seeing that i had about 8 fittings and several 90 and 45 degree adapters left over, it just made sense. rigid fittings, i went ahead and bought 18 of them. hopefully it will be enough... if not, at least it'll get be started. wink.gif

aside from that, you're is definitely coming together quite nicely.

once i get the motherboard standoffs to mount my reservoirs and my fittings then hopefully i can catch up. wink.gif
Thanks man. Really appreciate it. I just want to get it done. All the drilling drove me crazy.

And yes, I'm talking about the soft tubing in the basement. The tubing is too thick, so I can't screw in the compression to secure it. I'll probably pick up some hose clamps tomorrow, and use those.

Yours is looking pretty dang good too. Are you mounting your pumps in the bottom?

One of these days when I have more money I want a Caselabs case. At the moment I can't really afford to spend more on the case than I did on my CPU. Some day though. Some day!

I have some 3/8 x 5/8 soft tubing it rings if that's what your looking for in chrome. Some alphacool , some ek and 2 xspc if interested. Also you can always make pass through bigger and use a rubber washer to my have the pass through fitting fall through.

i am... i didnt want to, to be completely honest, but i just dont see any way around it unless i got rip of the koolance pumps/bases and went with EK so they'd fit on the X3 reservoirs.
i did however get some male-to-male fittings for my drain valves so im going to test the X3 -> RP450 mounting method that i've seen floating around the web.

for the soft tubing, i used zip ties on my previous build (tubing / pump connections; not visible). worked wonders.

I've run into a snag. My front radiator passthrough is too close to the 560 radiator, and I can't hook it up with a fitting. I'm at a loss of words.

Rubber grommet the hole and just pass the tube through?

Definitely awesome build. Sorry, late to the party.

how high is your 560 mounted?

Jay ran into something similar in skunkworks & had to move the 560 mount to the very bottom hole since his pass-through/fitting were hitting it

that gives you like 1-1/8" clearance from the bottom of the midplate to the top of the rad itself.

Still didn't work for me. He's probably using shorted fittings in the bottom.

However, I did get it work. It's pushing against the fitting, but it's working. I'm trying to get some things done before I go to work, and tonight I'll most likely be done. I plan to run Mayhems part 2 tonight and run it overnight. I have so much studying to do because I have an exam next Monday for Anatomy and Physiology, and I need an A.

Now if I ever have issues and need to do maintanance, I will need to remove the back 360. I don't think I'll be able to get the 560 in place again like it is now. Now it's perfect, and I don't want to screw it up.

I'm currently doing the tubing. I had it done, but it was leaking at a few places. I'm trying to tighten all the fittings as of now.

My fingers are so sore because my thumbs and index finger are all sliced up from the fittings.

And I have a little surprise for this build. I don't want to do anymore pass throughs for the CPU, so I'm "missing it up a bit" biggrin.gif

I finally got all the tubing, and I'm air leak testing it. I cannot seem to find where the leak(s) are.
