So now I'm just flushing out part 2, and maybe tomorrow (or tonight), I will flush it again. Then I'll fill it with pastel and call it a year hah.

Well at least you got it drained. My first loop in my SMA8 was a single and a pain. After watching your build and a few other SMA8 builds I'm ready to repipe and try to make it look cleaner. definitely envious of how yours looks. Keep up the good work.

This time I learn, and next I show what I learned lol. One huge loop is a pain. Thanks a lot. It means so much that someone actually likes my build. Now if I didn't get into watercooling, I would've probably stuck with my 750D, and saved $2500 on watercooling and kept my H100i haha.

Yeah, I've noticed a bit of a convergence in build design when it comes to that case, that is true. I do really
love the case though. Before buying my SMH10 I had originally planned to do a scratchbuild for my SR-2
because there weren't really any cases I liked which could fit the board, but by the time I had enough money
to actually make some progress, Caselabs had brought out the SMH10, which was very similar in general
layout to my concept. I also had dual 560s in the bottom, but instead of a 480 I also had another 560 in the roof
(not that that makes a very big difference). Since doing a scratchbuild of that size well would have been
significantly more expensive and time-consuming than buying an SMH10, I bought the Caselabs instead.

I think I got pretty lucky with the loop in my build, it seems to drain quite well. Noticed that when I accidendally
left the drain port open on first filling it, what I put in at the top came right out again at the bottom. lachen.gif

Completely agree, if you took all the SMH10s and SMA8s they would all be very similar and not much difference.

Well this is going to set me back.

I emailed PPCS a couple months ago when I ordered some 90 degree rotary XSPC fittings about them wiggling. I wanted to let them know and that at the time they weren't leaking. Well last night around 3am I finished filling the loop. Then the PC was leaking in the bottom compartment and I thought it was a possibility that it was from when I dropped my filling tool and coolant went All over my desk. Not sure how I thought it ended up in an isolated area lol.

But anyways I have a leak at the rotary part. Now I have to email PPCS and take apart my entire loop AGAIN. Now I'm frustrated and should've RMA'd all the 90 degree rotaries I had. They didn't leak previously so I didn't worry about it.

Im in such a hurry to get this done, I make so many mistakes. I ALWAYS forget to cap the top res when filling. This is like the third time were I powered my pump and water and coolant got everywhere. I've already drowned my titans in water biggrin.gif they booted two nights ago, so hopefully the boot again.

Here's where I'm at now.

I'm praying I pass this leak test haha

I had a female to femal fittings, so I combined my soft and hard tubing. I had to do this because without that 90, the piece of tubing I had wouldn't reach and would kink. I'm all out of tubing, so hopefully this works.

So far leak free. If there's no leaks or coolant in the bottom of the case after 5 hours, then I'll assume it's leak free and start cable managing it.
