Zotac 980 Ti AMP Extreme - Page 23

First congratulations!
Your card outperforms niche cards straight out of the box..... no worries there
With higher ASIC values voltage is not so important for now should do just fine with stock volts
Precision X try this setting for a bump
Power clock set to 105%
GPU Temp Target 60-70c
GPU clock offset +75
Memory clock offset +350
Get pen & paper for documentation purposes
Now start your overclocking fun!

Jarble, any update on your source for full cover blocks?
Just got an email from Alphacool. They need the PCB number to manufacture the block. I'm at work right now, is there anyone that could check with the PCB number is so that I can respond? I believe it is on the back side.

Is this thread dead now?

Nah more of a small niche of owners
Watched a Youtube video with a face off between evga and msi 980Ti hydro cards
Zotac's card was at the top of most of the benchmarks
When he o/c them Zotac only lost by a couple of frames
Its a great card
Post some scores

New bios??????????

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/175395/zotac-gtx980ti-6144-150722.html

I modd mine with our voltage settings.

Someone could monitor voltage in windows 10?
Is that really a new bios? could someone check it out? i can't be sure of that. i'm still waiting for a proper fan fix from this zotac thugs.

Good news and bad
Used their Firestorm tool to flash to latest bios posted no problem
The fan voltage rippling seems to have disappeared but crashed 3 times on Firestrike benchmark while testing
I could only do one complete run and finish on stock settings
Flashed back to original bios now normal with no fan spiking
I use to see the stuttering in the frame counter coincide with audible fan cutting in an out
Checked with my Precision presets running smooth as silk
