Zotac 980 Ti AMP Extreme - Page 26

It's a work in progress. Placing an order for fans and a controller. Fractial Design Define R5. It really isn't a great set up, cards too close.

I just picked up 4 Noctua NF-F12 pwm's
Not the nicest looking but good for focused airflow for my H100i
Try a push/pull on your rad it will pull more air out of your system
PS: My side panel comes with a mounting option for a fan which has a duct to focused air on card
The spacing on motherboard is pretty tight

there no ram space already between radiator for push/pull and needs more power supply 850 definately not enough for all the fans+cpu+gpus... probably only solution put one more fan on a bottom of case next to power supply and get custom panel with fan mount on side and blowing straight on GPUs.. or just put 4 holes in panel if you have no window

You can MacGyver it temporarily until you have a permanent solution
He's what I might do
Slide a small piece of plywood if you can between the 2 cards same width and maybe to the back fan opening
Backplate gets hot and transfers heat from 1 card to next
This should contain the heat better and create a partial chamber to exhaust heat out the back
Now to redirect more air from front out back with cross ventilation to the more isolated heat source
Just add 1or 2 exhaust fans to the lower back of the case
Or really go MacGyver and take a toilet paper hub and use it a temporary duct and lineup on lower front fan
Let it focus directly in new mini chamber or lower card and out the back

for the fans going on and off just set a custom fan curve in afterburner with a minimum of 30%, same as 20% just no spin downs, for me anyway

Edit:
also what's the "best" bios for the card as of now?
