Thanks for that! But 1.28 v is to much for me, I don't want to burn my card. I just need a bios that sets the mv correctly added in Afterburner, so I can go up with the voltage from 1,187 to 1,25 in small steps. How can I do this with FanMod-v2 ? I get 1,28 v without any changes of the core voltage in Afterburner.
1.28V is far far far from what would even remotely result in a card getting damaged. it's perfectly fine.

Hi i have a Zotac AMP! Extreme GTX 980ti now this is my second one because the first one i bought i flashed a custom bios on it and it bricked it because when i started my pc up it was a black screen but the one i have now will do 1520mhz core and +510 memory but i want more out of the gpu so is there a GOOD custom bios i can flash to get more voltage and extend the power limit?

68.4% ASIC

The Bios that is in the card now is 84.00.41.00.18

Cheers Neil

I will get this updated. Sorry for the delay people the FP hit the one year mark and got locked (new rule I had no idea about). But we have it unlocked now and can update again (big thanks the enterprise for the help) applaud.gif

Is there a way to allow Boost to boost further? I don't want/need full time 1xx% clocks in a few of the games I play. When I go with a bios with faster clocks and boost disabled, it doesn't downclock. I have a 75Hz monitor, and use adaptive vsync. Some games I play have no problem holding 75, so I like it being able to downclock in those situations via Util perfcap. Is there a way to give the card more available voltage so it can boost higher if it wants, instead of only 1404 with vRel perfap?

headscratch.gif I am not entirely sure I am tracking with what you want. You want to boost higher but also down clock? With stock voltage you should be able to boost past 1400mhz.

That's correct, I want to boost higher. When I manually OC or use a BIOS with higher clocks, it won't automatically downclock when it doesn't need all the clocks. Right now, it boosts to 1404. I'm under water with it, and it never gets above 42°C

Mine is down now but I'm pretty sure in AB I just moved the core clock up and it boosts higher while when idle it's not 'boosting'

You say when you oc yours it stays at that 100% 'boost' speed even at idle?

When my rig is back together I'll check it out.
