Noticed it doesn't have the heatsink or fins at the bottom, does it run hot if fans aren't pointed to it?

It won't be much more louder than a D5.

As for the heatsink, it can be bought separately

Can't find anywhere the max rpm these run. What's a recommended pump rpm for example loop pump/res, 360, CPU, 120, SLI gpu!back to pump/res.

Thanks.

Well to answer my own question for anyone who may find it useful. The pump runs at a max 4500 rpms it does make a little bit of noise but nothing crazy probably lower than 2x140s at 1500 rpms or so.

I've set it to 3k and you have to really listen for it to hear it, near silent.

I was looking for exactly this (RPM) info and have seen the 4500 thrown around - yet I only get 3000 out of mine ...? Now, it seems that 3k is fine for me so far, but wondering if I'm missing something.

,,,and more to my concern, what is the comfortable MINIMUM RPM for this pump?

My Asus BIOS fan config set a floor of 30% and so I assume that is merely a voltage floor of 3.6vdc - but the board is testing it as a fan so :dunno:

It depends on the Modell, there are 2 MX Version.
the one the you can buy from the EKWB Shop, that is a 3.2 Version, an the one the is included in the L-Kits, what is a 3.1

But the 3.1 is for a normal Loop more than enough. I have the 3.1 an it runs too with 3k rpm, what ist a very good compromise between noise and cooling performance.
