Oh, because it's AMD bashing and that's the in thing right now. Silly me.

People act like no other GPU has ever had coil whine before. Even Nvidia has suffered this problem as recently as their 980s. In fact, I have two friends who both RMAd their first 980s because the coil whine was that bad. One got back a noise-free card, and the other got one that is at "acceptable" levels.

The AMD hate train has gotten completely out of hand. I'm considering getting a Fury X just to spite all the Negative Nancys now.

When the evga 970 had a host of problems including coil whine it was in the news multiple times.

Please stop the amd bully victim complex, it's borderline pathetic.

As I said in the beginning, these things happen, and as long as you can RMA, I don't see what's the big deal about it on either camp. Just not an article with much value for discussion, unless due to it a widespread issue with the pumps that wasn't fixed with the second batch of consumer versions comes to light.

Anyway don't expect me here again c;

No one has ever heard of the new pair of shoes logic with new gpus? Coil wines usually disappear with time.

The card's volume is 1.5 Sone according to PCGH. Some contemporary aircooled units are >2.2 Sone.

Reason people are bashing amd is because of this.

AMD Claims:

While in reality we get

It's crude but when you set people's expectations high and it crashes down your going to get a ton of backlash, it's human nature.

LOL! No. There is just a new shoe effect. Anytime I bought new shoes they were stiff and uncomfortable just a bit. Once I used them for a while and worked in the shoe it became more flexible and comfortable. You've got to just put stress on shoe(video card) and wear down the coil noise.
