in SLI its bulky as hell, 2 pcie slots in between and they are stacked with no space in between them.. but they don't overheat.. and damn good at overclocking. I'm planning to get EKWB fullboard waterblocks and get them to 1500+, 8000+ in a month

edit.
just setup fan speed so that 60C = 100% fan and easily hitting 1513MHz/3900MHz staying at 59C one card and another at 53C on air both and icestorm 90mm fans are so quite don't even hear them

i don't have the card anymore but still have pics. Here's a visual. I have maximums vi formula, same spacing as the hero as far as pcie.

im using asus z170 hero.
if i get samsung 950 pro. i need to use the pci-e lanes ? or the m.2 slot is fine ?
if i do need to use pci-e lanes. the problem is im using zotac amp extreme980ti. and is blocking the 2nd pci-e lane. is it ok if my graphic card was on the 1st lane. and the samsung 950 pro on the 3rd pci-e lane ? totally skipping the 2nd pci-e lane.
1st lane = graphic card
2nd lane = empty ( because graphic card touching the 2nd lane cant find anything there)
3rd lane = samsung 950 pro
