Alright ladies n gentlemen, I have the water cooling up and running, complete with a 24 hour leak test.
It looks amazing IMO, I feel as if I am part of an elite club now, but also feel extremely stupid putting all this super expensive hardware centimeters away from water.

The pump is kinda loud, comparable to a noctua fan on full speed but a bit more high pitched. I crammed a piece of foam under it and it helped a but, but not much...

Cleaning up the basement a bit

So when I was moving the PC uostairs and back downstairs a teensy bit of water appeared above the res.... maybe it came out of the res or something? Anyways, here it is cleaned up.

I am about to start taking the sticker off the HDD and SSD, more updates to come!

Looking really, really good...

Did you have any trouble with the Bitspower fittings and the Primochill tubing?

I think you should do some work on those cables that are sticking up so high into the case. Clean it up smile.gif. Nice work. Make sure that piece doesn't keep leaking.

No, i dont think so. It was really, REALLY tough to removwe the tubing from the fitting once it was on but I think that's normal. I screwed down the fittings on the tubing pretty tight, made sure there were no leaks, and everything is running fine n dandy, so I think that's a sign that its good. Did you have anything in mind regarding the compatibility? I could probably answer it.

Which cables? the 24 pin?

Sorry I wasn't able to respond sooner, I was working on some stuff. Thank you everyone again for all the feedback!!

Right, so I de-stickered the storage devices. It was pretty straightforward, I even tried it on an old old old HDD I had laying around so I wouldn't screw it up on the big stuff.

Before

After

So when I was removing the protective plastic over the paint on the SSD, I realized that it came off with a bit of rubbing alcohol. This was the effect.

I am in the works of making a, midplate, as some would call it, for the case. I'm still finalizing the design and pictures will be uploaded tomorrow (hopefully rolleyes.gif
Here is what I'm going for (kind of), where the plate hides the basement from a birds eye view. Its the thing in the pic below where all the tubing, 4 pin, ect go through.

Credit goes to guitarhero23, his build log is here

Any ideas??

A mid plate you say? I like it smile.gif but I guess I'm biased! Also yes I was talking about the 24 pin one. It's a little wild at the moment! Midplate will help hide stuff

Biased in a good way or bad way? And yeah I need to figure out the wiring and cable managnent, it's kinda long, I'm just trying to get everything running right now. I have a few problems I need to resolve before I get to that kind of thing though;

1) the fan controller is being stupid and won't display more than one fan speed at a time, maybe because I'm using a splitter, I dunno yet.

2) the pc is booting to the bios and I have to manually select the SSD, I godda to some tinkering

3) mid plate

4) the pump is being REALLY LOUD so I godda try to figure out how to lower the speed of the pump.
