Sure, when idling, the pair of swiftech helix fans run at about 850 rpm and the mcp30 at 1500, under full load it can get up to 1800 and 3000. In my screen shots
CPUFANIN & CPU - the pump (reading shows up in two places for some reason)
AUXFANIN3 - a radiator fan (i only monitor one of them)
Chassis #1 Fan & SYSFANIN - a 120mm case fan (reading shows up in two places for some reason)
Also, mine's not in a case yet, its in a open test bench setup.

But the real reason for our temp differences is probably the 25% load your screenshot says is on your cpu. Mine's really idle with less than 1% utilization.

Well ladies and gents, I'm sorry for the wait. 3 weeks ago was the last update, and due to forgetfulness and lack of SD to USB ports I had, nothing was uploaded frown.gif

WELL I'M BACK!

So since last time, alot happened-

New pump

New res

New Midplate

New Sleeving/cables

New parts

New tubing config

So... how about some pics? Mostly just hardware pr0n.

So since taking this picture, all of the flex bay slots are filled.

I was having a problem where the fittings from the rad were hitting the top of the res. I fixed this by changing the way the fittings came down using 2 45s twisting instead of 1.

I love the shot below, the tubing curving over the RAM...

It looks like the SATA port cover was taken off a sprue or something, not sure if I can fix this or not.

Finally got the basement tidied up

I know alot of people want me to get cable combs, but I really like the free-flowing look of the cables around the build. The cable combs are restricting and kinda tacky imo, MAYBE I'mm 3d print a 24 pin one or something, I dunno.

See? zip ties work, too.

This was when I was cleaning up the case. I love the QD firrings and the removable motherboard case, thank you CL for implementing this!

Some cables

Looking pretty bare without any hardware.

Again, I am very sorry for the wait. I have a few more things to finish up on and then I can work on the whole GPU thing! In order of importance, my desired plans are to

A) Finish the flex bay thing, I have 3 slots open for whatever, and I'm thinking of putting in the 120mm fan thing I modded in it.

B) Get some anti-bacterial solution in the loop, its pure distilled water right now.

C) Get some decals for the SSD and maybe the PSU

D) Fill up some more space in the rig

E) Cable management in the basement

F) Finish my overclock, tune it in to a solid 4.0. I have it at 4 but I did 15 minutes of stress testing on it. I want 4 because its a nice OC and I'm not pushing the voltages too high.

G) Maybe polish the resovior?

H) Tidy up the sleeving on the 24 pin

I) Try and change or take off the LED in the vandal switch, I hate the blue.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I will totally hear them! Thank you for (hopefully?) sticking with me! More updates tomorrow about some mods I did.

I'm super excited to work in this case, I've heard great things about CaseLabs and did MONTHS of research on what case and components to put in the rig. I previously had an FX6300 CPU and 8gb of ram rig, but wanted a bigger, better rig to last me until college, so i sold it. I currently have most of the components I need, including the 5820k and the RAM, but I need the case (ETA 2 months), the motherboard (I currently have the ASUS x99 deluxe in a Corsair air 540), and the GPU (I currently have a few 750tis in my rig for mining, but plan on upgrading later).

I am watercooling the rig, but I only plan on cooling the CPU; I like to show off the GPU cooler, especially if it is the Nvidia reference cooler.
The log will take a while. I need approximately 2 months to get the parts for the case, but once I get that, the log will only take about another week or so. In between, I will most likely work on custom sleeving and possibly painting components such as the fans I have (Noctua NF-S12A's), but that will be worked on later, so buckle in for the long haul.

I have CaseLabs Merlin ST10 X with two pedestals and nearly every extra part available. Currently it is apart while I rebuild it. Every now and then I post a paint drawing of an idea to see what kind of feedback I get. Building is fun, but I also like to see what others have to say. I have yet to do a build log since I change my mind so often. smile.gif The only pics I post are over in OCN Water Cooling Club And Picture Gallery.
