By the way: interesting to see that so many pros use raw input - which adds some weird delay why many here don't like it.

I have changed my sensitivity to 2.464 @ 400 CPI. I cannot go any higher without sacrificing a noticeable amount of my head shot percentage. If I had a smoother mouse pad, and/or better mouse, I probably could increase my sensitivity without issue.

Raw input is used more often now because of the consistency. Supposedly, the delay experienced is only at lower frame rates.

I have the wild idea that they just patched it without saying anything.. smile.gif

Or maybe we were just used to the dropped counts giving the illusion of a more snappy feeling.

Sensitivity is all preference.. I have friends who are playing in ESEA-premier that use 3.0-3.5 sens @ 400 DPI, but spectating them when dead, you wouldn't think they used anywhere near that, due to how well they control it.

i am currently using 1.5 at 800, so yeah, i believe it smile.gif Lots of times i do flick 160ish degree turns where i'm happy i didn't have anything lower. Basically the sensitivity where i can have the mouse in the middle of the mouspad and do 180 degree turn without lifting. Its also cool in that its very easy to get that exact sensitivity in multiple dpi. at 400 dpi at 3 is exactly the same as 500 dpi at 2.4, exactly the same as 800 dpi at 1.5 exactly the same as 1000 dpi at 4.8. Its not like you start having to start rounding.

I feel like the margin for error could be slightly higher at say 1600 DPI @ .475 sens than 400 DPI @ 1.9 sens (my own sens as example).
