Yes. Max out power limit, fan and voltage. Run a benchmark like Firestrike or Heaven raise core by +15 every 20 seconds until it crashes. Back it off by -15 until stable. Watch temps!
You will have to check voltages on the card with a volt meter, gpu-z won't report correct voltages for that board. Monitor your power limit, does it level off? When it levels off is that when your clocks throttle? What are yout clocks by the way ?
Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't the next step be a custom BIOS? I am on 2 Titan X's and that is how you get the most out of those cards...
Edit: Afterthought...you will probably need a HOF only BIOS due to the different PCB...Maybe try some Galax forums or ask JPMBoy or Sheyster to cook one up...
Where you able to bypass the limit and is it the same with other brand 980 and 980ti's?
