Moving to Windows 10 or not: That is the Question - Page 104

The more I read this thread the more this sounds like they just rolled out Skynet.

I want to believe, Microsoft.

to see if it can run windows 10 like my sig rig runs win 7.
granted the pciex16 slot running at x8 will be a potential bottleneck, but if the system runs as smoothly and snappily as my sig rig does with 7 then I can live with that.
no sense putting a r9 390 in it as the x8 limit would hurt it too much, but a r7 360 like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125796 should do fine in spite of that.

If you can afford the R9 390, do it. You shouldn't see any bottleneck even at x8. thumb.gif

Would a r9 390 work good with a fx 6300 or 8320 without bottleneck?

Should be just fine. At least where the 8320 is concerned. But don't see why it wouldn't work with the 6300 since those are the latest FX chips, not counting the binned offerings recently sold. thumb.gif
