why you should NOT buy any 4K HDMI 2.0 without confirmation it's HCDP2.2 is working;
https://www.hdfury.com/shop/splitters/integral-4k60-444-600mhz/
if you buy this limited to HCDP 1.4 most Crossover Korean panels continue to be in 2016;
you may need to spend an addition $200-$300 to downgrade HCDP from 2.2 to 1.4
between your 4K streaming device and these obsolete Crossover panels to watch content.
this will be a major issue in years to come, so ignore this fair warning at your own peril.
since there are threads discussing >100dpi 39-40" VA and 42" IPS monitors,
I thought I would start a thread focusing on these new <100dpi IPS monitors.

any overclock attempt will skip frames. uniform and mild IPS backlight glow, no-PWM,
non reflective glass shield is a fingerprint magnet that is more glossy than matte.
monitor settings I found desirable, reminder - have no color calibration expertise:
backlight=20 brightness=40 contrast=60 sharpness=2 temperature=6500k PCM=native
changed since new freesync firmware was implemented.
backlight=30 brightness=50 contrast=70 sharpness=2, R and G and B = 110, PCM=vivid
