I dunno if anyone else has this problem but, anyone else noticing a small black semi-transparent strip covering all edges?
If you look directly at it you can't really see it but if you bring your head up a ways you'll see the strip, it's very annoying on the left or right edges of the screen when using fullscreen apps like photoshop because you can't see your icons unless you move your head directly at the screen.

There seems to be very weird viewing angles only at the edges..

Keep in mind I'm only about 1 arm length away from the monitor, so when I move back a few inches it's not actually a big deal problem is my desk isn't particularly large so moving back those few inches is not possible as I'd be reaching for the keyboard.. and keep in mind I do not have this problem with other large 4K displays... also, the 49" version doesn't have that black strip and also has a smaller bezel...

Every 434k LG panel has that even my current UHD420 from Wasabi Mango.

Ah, okay.

Wish it didn't though especially for side UI elements in programs as I'm sitting roughly in the center of the screen.

Unfortunately for that price point and the lack of 40"+ monitors in the market, you can't be choosy.

Well, there is options if you want to use a TV as a monitor but you also have to research which TV supports 4K/60 at 4:4:4 and not many do.

The strip blurs out UI elements which to me is really bothersome especially when using photoshop, I'm not going to keep using this as a monitor for long but look at other options by either downsizing to 40" or look at 43" TVs that support 4k/60 4:4:4.

I'll probably end up using this as a media display.

Perhaps not having Photoshop maximized would help? Large enough to avoid the strip should be sufficient.

I'm planning on getting one from dream-seller, any coupon code guys?

I do, just annoying and loss of screen real estate... I'd go with the 40" or 49" models, the 40" will have deeper blacks and colors, the 43" has decent blacks but overall colors are natural, the 49" model has a better panel then the 43" models and smaller bezels.

I cannot notice the said strip in my 434K final. I tried two WM UHD420 and one WN UHD430 before, one 420 and one 430 I noticed but one rgbw 420 I couldnt notice. For picture quality, 434K final is better than uhd420.

Did you encounter any low-pitch buzzing/humming sound emitting from both of the brands? I can hear it on mine.
