Doesn't DreamSEller have a warehouse in California now since last time I messaged him on Ebay? so shipping out these monitors should be a lot faster now.

Im in Aussie anyway, so that's not going to be faster.

Just found out this monitor is actually going to attract customs fees which will be a further $110AU on top of the purchase price (so about 1100AU all up). It hasn't left the station yet so I might cancel - at 150 more than the 40" Phillips I can get locally, it doesn't really seem worth it, particularly with the likelihood there wil be issues one way or another.

Hi just bought a 434k from Ds , my OSD menu looks very different from what is listed here

http://wecravegamestoo.com/forums/monitor-reviews-discussion/15899-crossover-434k-review-semi-glossy-8-bit-frc-4k-lg-ah-ips.html

the remote looks different too and have fewer options (power, menu, source, scale, mute and an ok button).

Has someone recently calibrated their monitors? Am I missing a firmware upate
post #667 of 708
Not really. There is no firmware update notice in the support zone of crossover homepage. Crossover offers a new remote with less buttons for 434K final. For OSD, 434K final gets the new menu that totally different from the previous version.

Your monitor should be calibrated before shipped. Mine is rather good at color reproduction.

Recently build an itx pc with inwin chopin case + i6700 for my 434K final, it works great.

Recieved my 434k today. What a beautiful screen. Unfortunately there seems to be a hair or something trapped under the screen to the slight left in the middle, which is a bit annoying - thankfully it's smallish and for what I'll end up using it for it won't be noticeable.

Will put it through its paces over the next week, but I doubt it''ll replace my U3415W for work purposes. Gaming - we'll see.

Congrats. Dont be disappointed. There is a little chance to have a perfect pixel only. What is your config?
I'm not really that disappointed - given the price, I'm pretty happy with it and for gaming I think its perfect (I'm not 100% if it's a hair, could be dead pixels in shaped in a hair fashion!). Its only really noticeable when working on white screens.

When you say config, what do you mean exactly?

Btw, no flickering for those on the fence.
