Did you guys ever get any Broadwells?

I just looked at the store again and still see that the 5775 is still listed as sold out. I think I remember reading that was a placeholder for when you did get them. Did you get them and I missed it or no?

I was going to purchase one of these, but after seeing the poor overclocking results and Skylake getting so very close I've decided to skip it.

I don't think they're available in anywhere in America, and we're coming up on 2 months since "launch." Either Intel is still having trouble getting these made, or they're just focusing on Skylake.

Same thoughts here but who would know better than the guys checking them 100 at a time?

No, we've had some on order since early June but they still haven't shipped. Our supplier has no ETA and I can't seem to find them anywhere else without large premiums.

Any news from the supplier on these again? I just saw that Newegg, Amazon, eBay, and maybe B&H are starting to have some trickle in. (It could just remain a limited trickle, it is Monday after all and those premiums are still high)

Broadwell has been shelved for now, it's very niche compared to the 4790K/6700K and doesn't overclock well. I may look into it again later, but right now all my efforts are on the 6700Ks.

How unfortunate because Broadwell, would be a kick-arse HTPC setup with any system.

Again please keep us appraised into the future, if or when you'll have them for Sale on your Website.

I just sent one in for a delid (1348) so you should have at least one to take a look at.

Trip report:

I basically have the same results that Anandtech saw in their Broadwell test. 4.2GHz @ 1.3v is rock solid, if I try to bump it up to 4.3 or 4.4 windows BSODs during boot, if I try 4.5 the computer won't even boot.

My temps averaged mid 60s running Intel burn test and POV-Ray with a max of 71, although it will jump up to the mid 80s in Prime95.

I'm using a Phanteks PH-TC14PE and GC-Extreme on an Asrock Extreme3.
