I would recommend a method that I am going to do with this build http://www.overclock.net/t/1566756/ice-cubed-build-log . That is actually my account but I need to transfer names mad.gif . Anyways, my plan is to glue 6 neodymium magnets on the front, and then glue 6 magnets on the other side of the case So that I can see everything in the build and have easy put on/take off. Check that build out if you are interested and if you need any help, pm me as I love watercooling stuff.
P.S. I blew my budget too XD

Hahah nah the acrylics actually for my mid plate smile.gif Sweet thanks! Hope your builds still continuing!

I think it will be a tight fit at the top and was wondering if you thought there is enough room. If not I will go with a 240GTS up top and a 360GTX up front. Would like to have 2x 360 in it though. Not that I need it, but just for the look. Thanks!

Hmm.. From what I can see, its definitely possible if you remove the rear exhaust fan or place the front radiators fans on the inside of the front cover. Tbh I wish I stuck with my original plan and went with 360GTX up front and 360GTS up the top. Oh well, would be a waste changing it up now!

I was actually really tempted to upgrade to the skylake on the launch date but judging from reviews it doesn't seem worth it anymore.

Thanks! After browsing around the forums and stumbling across your Lian-Li build, it has inspired me to do my own build! So I'm blaming you for all this! biggrin.gif

Nearing the End
(So I thought)

Alright folks I'm still here, the build isn't dead. I apologize for the huge delay! I've honestly been neglecting this project lately tongue.gif but it's time I get this build going again!
So over the past few weeks I've changed this build back and forth because I couldn't decide what I'm happy with after looking at literally over hundreds of other builds!!

Anyways my cables are finally here from Icemodz!! Sleeved in MDPC-X Black & Grand Bleu

Bought some stealth cable combs from E22 to keep my cables neater smile.gif

Also got some a few other SATA cables and front I/O cables sleeved in MDPC-X Black too! First time sleeving so not the best job frown.gif

CPU Block is finally mounted on and here's an idea of how I want my GPU mounted!

Borrowed a DSLR from my girlfriend tongue.gif Decided to mount the pump up right instead, Got my acrylic sheets, however I ordered a couple wrong colors and accidentally snapped a bit too much off when I was cutting it so I ordered a couple more sheets and redo them properly this time. Also played around with the dye in the GPU water block smile.gif

Shot of how the res is going to look with the Darkside Blue UV LED strip replacing the CCFL

I think we all can tell that I have absolutely no idea on how to use a DSLR hahah! Sadly after playing around with it a bit, the cameras battery died on me!!! Girlfriend misplaced her charger too so I'll be getting a new one for her and so that I can stop taking hideous photos with my iPhone camera! Anyways here's the last shot I got before the battery died. Filled up the res with distilled water too and a couple drops of Mayhem Deep Blue in there! I think it looks great with the helix lit up!

Anyways time to start some tubing! Man did I underestimate rigid tubing.. Here's a couple of my first bends.. Don't worry, I'll be redoing those for sure..

After countless attempts and watching many videos, I'm finally improving little by little!

And here's where I'm currently at!

Hopefully the battery charger comes in soon so I can retake a few of these shots frown.gif
Still need to redo both the tubing on CPU water block and having a lot of dramas trying to get the GPU > RAM block...
Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I mounted the GPU on the case, it's not going to stay like that so don't worry, I'll be cleaning that up over the week smile.gif
Once the acrylic piece comes in then I can drill some pass throughs for the tubing wink.gif I'd love to make some water channels in the mid plate, however I can't see that happening with my terrible modding skills frown.gif
Ordered some new black screws to replace a bunch of my silver ones as well.. I'll update you guys soon!
I'm winging everything as I go guys so any help or suggestions/drawing with the loop paths or gpu mounting etc would be appreciated smile.gif Complete amateur over here!

Here's a change from this project, my previous project 1-2 years ago. This ones for you car guys!

I'm not gonna lie.. I was pretty stoked to see my car on StanceNation one random morning.

I wish I went a little more into performance as well but I'm getting over modding cars now frown.gif
Well that's all, hope you guys enjoyed these photos!

UPDATE

I just got back not long ago from a short holiday so I haven't been able to do much but here it is. To be honest, after everything and planning to leak test the next day of the last update I realized I wasn't quite happy with the build as it was a total mess!! I didn't have the right tools and didn't plan my very well either and kept making mistakes like scratches and holes from repositioning. So what do I do? I went backwards.. pulled everything out including every rivet in the case and started again. I wasn't going to update this quite yet because I didn't have much progress show but what the heck, it's a log after all. Hopefully some of you professionals out there could give me some ideas or tips smile.gif
Still learning how to use the DSLR and need to get some better lighting equipment and tripod. Enjoy the photos!

Parts Introduction
(Not all of them, will come back to this post in the future and edit it once I do a few more shoots)

Woops forgot to clean the dye from the pump when I was playing around with it tongue.gif

Replacing the red sleeves with black MDPC-X on the radiator fans

The Real Beginning

Here's where my build took a turn and I began tidying up the case and mounts a bit

Cleaned up that cut and also started sanding down the case to prepare for paint but stopped cos I ran out of sandpaper and the shops are closed.. So I put those panels back together without the rivets and started taking some quick photos with some acrylic sheets for this update post biggrin.gif

Now... Here's where I'm currently stuck at, I decided I wanted the radiator on the roof instead with an enclosure and mount the fans on the inside (might as well go push pull if I'm gonna do this). I had a look at the Koolance enclosures but I'm not much of a fan on how they look. So I want to make one instead however my access to tools are pretty limited so I can only do so much.. Any ideas?

It can't fit inside the case? I am not a big fan of the Koolance radiator covers.

It fits in the case fine but there isn't enough room for my reservoir to put a pass thru fitting in the mid plate and I want to raise it up a bit more so it shows off the motherboard bit more. Yeah me neither.

Probably going to cut a hole and make a box out of acrylic or aluminum. Should of gone with a difference case to be honest haha!
