Wow... I want to know how the heck you managed to get FOUR 780Ti Lightnings, hell, even just one. The renders look great by the way thumb.gif

This just blew my mind, and its barely underway yet...some of the creative ideas in this build log are simply amazing, I am so subbed for this!

Bro, how did you manage to get 4 of them...

I'm definitely jealous...

I'd actually been thinking of doing a Lightning inspired build for some time, easily over 6 months ago by now as I was absolutely in love with the X99 XPOWER. After Chocolate Box (which for a brief moment was going to be yellow) Justin threw me straight into his project MATE, and everything I was personally doing with PC's slipped my mind for a while. The 780/290X hype died down quite a lot with the rise of Maxwell and Fury speculation. When MSI started to tease the next generation of Lightning I let my excitement be known and the project started coming to life. It helped greatly that we got PARVUM KRAIT moving again. This project was going to be held back until newer Lightnings landed but then MSI found some 780Ti's lurking and asked if we wanted to use them, taken back by the rarity and provenance we decided we could use 4 thumb.gif

It's phenomenal to have 4 of such a card and I can't wait to have them all running alongside each other. I've tested two on air and even with the slightly locked down standard BIOS they clock pretty sweetly. Being engineering samples every card has Samsung memory and within an hour or so I had them both clocked beyond the limits i'd ever reached with my 780Ti Matrix Platinum on air.

Love it man. I've been talking to Justin all day about this build and I'm certainly impressed. Ya'lls MSI guys deserve some KUDOS for sure for this. I'm just hoping to get my hands on the 980 Ti Lightning at some point and use it in a build. I've had 680, 780, 6970, 7970, 290x Lightnings so its only fitting!

Holler if I can help ya'll brother.

Why couldn't it get done last time? I thought it needed more stuff, will have to make it smaller next time. smile.gif
