Personal feelings aside, when it comes to the US track record on handling situations that involve security or defense, if they can't have it they either take it or break it.

Reading this article, it kind of makes it seem like Windows 10 is the devil. Hopefully this is all a load?

Nice necro.

It really depends on where you sit.

The reality is, once your signal leaves the 4 corners of your domicile, it is now public property.

You're being tracked at the pole, at the ISP, at your destination...Even browser data is technically tracking you from your private domain.

So, the fact is, it's kind of irrelevant what M$ is doing on Windows 10 because everything you're doing on the internet, regardless of VPN, Proxies et al, is still being monitored.

It honestly doesn't matter if Windows 10 is the "devil" or not because we've allowed the NSA to become the essential "anti-Christ".

Like I said, it depends on what you know and where you sit...If you didn't know the above, then Windows 10 is the "devil", if you did know the above, you'd know that M$ is just sinking another nail into the coffin.

Truthfully, regardless of what others say in this thread, the NSA is the gateway by which other agencies in our Gov't get information...So, the sword does actually cut both ways.
