Zoomed out those graphs looked like a Ikari Laser on a cloth surface.

edit4:

hmmmmmm

edit3:this mouse is special. thats for sure. switching the polling rate will auto replug the mouse

edit2: firmware 2.01 has a slight chance to kill your mouse? lol wat

edit:lol this mouse will lag with rgb lights enabled on the mouse? this will be fun.

So ummmmm anyone happen to have the 1.03 firmware file "Scimitar_V103.bin" sitting around?

I'm gonna guess no.

Some companies should not be allowed to put this trash on the market, what were they thinking? We're just gonna put it out and make a ton of money because screw you?

So fw 2.01....

RAINBOW RGB LIGHT SHOW
setting:

It's still awful.

Okay, so maybe it's normal on 2.01 with all the leds turned off?

welp gg

I hope this is just a software issue that can be ironed out. This mouse looks great for me. Been looking for a mechanical-switch mmo mouse for work and mmo's.

Hey guys, I want to clarify before we go to far that I am not the mouse guy.

I really know almost nothing about mice at all - but I do want to make sure that your complaints are logged and addressed correctly.

If one of you guys can put together a clear list of issues I will get it addressed ASAP.

From above it seems like the tracking is significantly affected by the LED profile?

As for the disconnecting and firmware bricking issues, we're aware of that and have actually got a fix we're validating in the lab now. Not sure how this happened here, but we want to make sure we address it better.

For me, Scimitar is the most comfortable mouse we've ever designed so I want to make sure we fix the technical stuff, but I need the help of the experts here to get feedback to the team.

Also - if you have any questions specifically about it let me know and I'll get answers for you.

"For me, Scimitar is the most comfortable mouse we've ever designed..." - for me personally, the most comfortable Corsair mouse is by far the Katar. A version with the 3360 sensor in the future would be amazing as i can't deal with the interpolated 3090 in it (I'm aware that isn't your department).

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, but saw an opportunity to voice my opinion on a great shaped mouse that got a low tier sensor, as i don't understand why companies equate fingertip mice with low tier all the time.

A thought just occurred to me.

Has Dexin ever produced a decent mmo mouse for a brand? The worst so far has been the Volos, a mouse they produced for Thermaltake. Scimitar can potentially best that awfulness though.

Well for a start, it would be nice if you made the 1.03 firmware available. It's the firmware that shipped with the mouse.

As for the bricking issue that's the cue software at work. rolleyes.gif It's a side effect of having the software aggressively push the user to update when in actuality they are flashing to a firmware that is not compatible with their current cue version. wink.gif

As for the led's effect on the mouse's performance? It's there whether the leds are on or off. 1000hz is where it's easy to demonstrate and feel.

Now I'm almost certain at this point that this is not completely fixable with firmware. As in, this is just bad design.

But if you can get your firmware provider to produce a firmware for you that fixes all the issues without removing, nerfing, or breaking features or performance then hat's off you guys.

I'm not expecting that outcome.

..................

Okay, so anyone have any idea on how I could get the led lighting to tax the mouse even more? Would adding certain colors to the rainbow strobe effect have any effect?
