You can easily hear Blues from a floor level away. They are that loud. With no TVs on and rather quiet you can hear the clickyness across 3k sq foot home easily.

I think it has a lot to do with what material the base of the keyboard is made of. The loud sound of molded plastic hitting solid metal is an unfortunate side-effect of the quality material the K70 (and similar) are made from. I suspect the same keys & switches on a cheaper fiberglass or plastic base wouldn't be nearly as audible.

I would like to see if the o-ring mod on the Silent switches improves them even further. From video, they still aren't as quiet as I would like, but definitely an improvement.

Sound test at 4:43 mark.
