At the current rate, I would estimate 0-2 per week. There were none in the batch for this week.

I'm looking at ordering the 4.7 chip along with a delid, can I get it simply with the lid removed and not reinstalled?

how many do you order per week? Sounds like you don't do 1k batch orders.

Thread Starter
Speaking of delidding, SL, beyond the so-so factory TIM, is the issue of the variable height between the IHS and the die due to the variable application of the factory adhesive goop. At least with Ivy/Haswell this was observed between samples. Is this still an issue with Skylake?

When you delid and reseal, do you have a method to insure the optimum clearance between the IHS and the die? Or have you found that CLU is good enough not to worry about it?
