6700K lottery winners? - Page 28

he has been buying chips all the way up till 4790K so I think he knows..

I am holding off till I test my best chips to really say anything to definitive, but realbench 1hr at 4.9ghz under 1.45v does not seem possible for the majority of 4.8ghz predelid chips

maybe those 2 chips just didn't have it in them though. I got 4 others to test

hopefully 4..., usps seems to have lost one

good luck thumb.gif
with usps that seems to be the only thing that will help you so thank you very much XD

it goes into windows 1.41 @5ghz predelid so yeah... I need all the luck I can get in hopes that it will show up.

I am doubtful

Is that attitude really necessary?

Its not like it matters first batches are always terrible overclockers anyways

I'd respond to that, but we're going to have a serious case of deja vu.

mild Attitude was necessary guy started using profanity

already brought it up pages ago I dunno why this guy has to beat a dead horse
I thought I'd clarify this time that I was told that by someone who has been doing this for 15+years but I guess it still doesn't matter
post #276 of 323
Maybe not this case but someone can be wrong for 15yrs or more - or there is a better way, time in some respect does not mean a thing!

And this is now a 275 post - And i got lost trying to find something earlier to recap on tongue.gif

no 4.9ghz daily chips out in the wild yet.

my buddy who helps me with LN2 and had been doing extreme OC since I guess about 06 was the one who told me to steer clear of first batches, when I told him I was binning 6700Ks.

Prices only drop over time, so I can't see you losing anything by binning from the start. I'm not convinced that not having a commercially binned 4.9 yet means much when you consider that 4.8 is roughly top 5%...I wonder what 4.9 is?! Couple that with low stock and it isn't surprising to me at all.

If that's true (bit of a lack of data atm) then good luck reducing a 6600k from 64c to 34c under load at 1.4v thumb.gif
