Best way to make that happen is to post wink.gif

Hey guys,

I'm quite interested in a DS6 rev.B to host my new rig, but I have a few concerns :

  • The efficiency of the air intake : first, the fact that front fans can only draw fresh air from ventilation holes on the side of the case, but also the design of the HDD cage itself which looks extremely restrictive

  • reading user reviews (especially on amazon) there seems to be many complaints regarding build quality and/or quality control

alx my case was slightly messed up not sure if it's a q&a issue or not but i have problems mounting cards using normal standoffs

Here's to hoping it lives up to its claims of "68.5 CFM, 14.4 dBA at 1100 RPM"

If this does go well, i'll be replacing all the fans in my case with these.

How has your fan been treating you so far?

While its true the front fans draw air from the side, this is by design to avoid openings in the front panel and to minimize noise.

The HDD cages have plenty of space around them for airflow. Unfortunately, there are some trade offs.

As far as quality control, we know things happen and certain parts wont always operate as they should, but our support team is excellent at getting those replaced quickly.

When my tripod comes in later this week I'll post mine up for sure.

That tron design is sweet!

I wanted to get this case for my rig but my main concern is that I am using the H240x and I would need to mount it on the top. On amazon there is someone who couldent do that because the motherboard got in the way with this case. I am using a Maximus Hero Vi motherboard in my system. Can anyone verify if it will or will not fit?
casper if you mount it on the 1-2 bracket on the inside it should fit but not 100% sure i'd pm the guy from nanoxia on here he should be able to give you better info

and for the people wondering about airflow in the case : so far my rev A is one off the best airflow cases i've owned so far besides some minor buildquality issues in mine which i heard are fixed on rev B so i'd give it a solid thumb.gif's up if that's true smile.gif

The H240x fits our Deep Silence 6 case with ease. The person you read it from online might of been trying to fit it inside of a micro ATX case or something ;-)
