Seems like a nice chip

What voltage do you peak at with llc on auto. Mine goes over 1.4 even though I'm stable at 1.38 with llc 5.

Sorry if it says it in the image, I cannot see it on my phone.

Quick run on the current daily system settings.

4.5 / 4.2 C16-18-18-36 1T 1.4v. 1.37v adaptive, all other settings in auto besides a manual SA boot voltage of 1.3v

I didn't check while I was running this, but using AIDA 64 with my chip at 4600 and 1.3 volts in adaptive it can peak up to 1.376 so I am sure it was over 1.4 probably 1.44, I just randomly entered 1.35, I haven't fully tested the chip yet, or the memory, plan is to wait for the M8E board but the Hero seems to be a very capable board

Yes Scone it is better than I initially thought it was, definitely runs at higher clocks with less voltage than the 6600K I had

Did you run the FPU test? AIDA AVX2 routines.

very nice cpu !! 48/48 is crazy, Bot really needs to give this one points. W10 and all. It's a pretty tough benchmark - right?

My cpu is a weird one. Needs1.5V for 4.7/4.5 but only one core reaches 81C with air cooling and only 67c with water in this bench. Been here before, high-voltage/low temp chip. ohno-smiley02.gif

Hello

More testing is needed but this seems to be a quick test for stability. Testing CPU frequency only stability I have found that settings resulting in a system freeze at approximately the one hour mark of OCN Custom x264 results in a system reboot in less than two minutes using this benchmark. As tested the benchmark is configured for 4k and x4 overkill. The behavior is quite different on Skylake compared to X99. On X99 I found it to be of limited value.

@Praz Quick inane question, have you found instances with SKL where setting a manual boot voltage for VCCSA has been required? Memory configuration that passes 2 hour stress app threw up a 55 this morning

EDIT: Actually I don't think this is the issue

Hello

I haven't had a need to manually set any boot voltages yet but I have not really pushed anything at this point either.
