Nah, "old school" is not caring about it.

When I use an off-the-shelf bungee, I put them to the bottom-right of the pad.

What's your default position on your mousepad? Mine is slightly off center to the right, so I keep my bungee a bit to the left from the exact middle, otherwise my cord will hit it at times.

Picked up a 6-pack of cord holders for 89 cents @ Walgreens, in case anyone wanted to grab them since BestBuy charges $10.

Got my Quadrock and it feels better then any normal bungee.
Never liked the spring with bungees.

I really like the way the quad rock has the cable sticking straight up, but $40 though....

It's the same sentiment I come across all the time when it comes to spending any money doh.gif .

The GOOD stuff is never cheap unless it's cheaply made, Yum-cha effort but you're buying a 100% Made in Korea Product. Hence you need to fork out extra money for quality.

Trust me, when you visit a brothel would you first go with the "Cheapest" looking ones or would you fork out the extra moolah, for the Higher Class Escorts? I know which ones I'll be going with, when it comes to spending some quality time.

How does the cord holder work best; on the side of the monitor, or perhaps on the wall in front of the mousepad (not sure if the adhesive would stick worse on a wall)?

Best-feeling setup I've had so far:

Like a well-balanced calligraphy stylus, it falls right in place like a natural extension of your hand.

Doesn't even need the slightest bit of attention to stay in place, it just becomes a part of the mouse, a part of your hand.
