I was wondering if Best Buy will be getting this in stock for black friday? They have 50 percent off on logitech keyboards and mice. Why not mousepads!

Also wondering about that.

Too bad so many "Extended" pads are only 300mm height. That's just ridiculously small. 450mm would be ideal.

How old was your G640 to that time?

The G640 also offers more control in comparison to the Qck+. Small adjustments are very easy on the G640, but on quick direction changes it feels a bit sticky. This is with Corepad skates. The edges on the G640 are pretty sharp. I wouldn't get a UC over the G640, imo the G640 is better except for the edges.
What are you preferring after longer time with both QCK+ and G640? I like the extra control that I get from pads like QCK Heavy and Qpad UC50 in comparison to those fast pads like Hayate or GTF-X. IMHO I play better with the more controlled pads. That's why I'm interested in the Logitech pad. The control aspect sounds nice. But.... how sticky does it become in initial motions? Is it only apparent with those Corepad feet?

Well I got the G640 free with a purchase of the G502, so far its been working well for me. The cloth of the G640 feels smoother in terms of feel compared to my QCK+ (Fnatic Asphalt Edition) but like what RDno1 said, the QCK+ feels smoother in terms of glide. But the G640 will definitely feel smoother than a worn-out OCK+. The only problem I have with this pad is that the "Logitech G" logo at the bottom right corner is annoying as hell as it is printed on the pad itself (unlike my QCK+ Fnatic edition where the logo feels like its part of the pad). Everytime I run over that logo while trying to shoot someone when I'm double jumping as Scout in TF2 my aim gets totally thrown off. Unless you use the pad upside down, than that should not be a problem.

Conclusion? I do like it despite the annoying logo problem that can be solved unless you have a serious case of OCD. It offers more control compared to the QCK+ and it allows me to hit more flickshots. (In both Tf2 and CS:GO) Although mousepads are personal preference.

Hope this gives u some insight on the pad biggrin.gif

Oops sorry accidentally quoted my own post, ignore this

Sounds good though, my razer goliathus speed is a little too fast for me. Might get one to try out.

Sorry to bump this old post but I have the g640 now and want to say some things about it

So initially

Smooth surface with no bump (for me, luck?)
Large as a qck heavy but not thick
Controlled glide with easy start/stop
Dust isn't very visible
They test their mice on these

On the initial con

Hair/dust get caught in the weave even if you can't see them

The edges are sharp
The rubber base doesn't seem to be the "higher quality" one

Why is it $39?

And after a week of use I'm not sure if dust in the mouse feet or dust in the sensor hole affect track/glide ( I don't think they're detrimental enough to be noticed??) But it appears the glide is deteriorating already. Something like this wouldn't bother a high sensitivity player? But low sensitivity you feel it for sure. Again idk if dust within a week can affect glide but that's how it feels now. Basically starting movement is harder now which is no good when needing to track

As comparison I felt the mionix alioth was much cheaper $19 and of similar quality but I don't recall it losing glide enough to be noticeable within a week. Again someone chime in if you think it's dust.. Even though I don't think dust can wreck glide that fast

At least I love the g900 for me my thoughts of this mouse pad are it's unfortunately not worth it, if I were to lan this pad I'd need a new one every tournament to have a decent glide. Not sure if I'm being over sensitive or to critical but the glide feels more "sticky" since only a week. I remember the hyper x fury pad would get similar in 4 weeks but even worse

Edit: Returning this pad frown.gif

I must say that this is the best pad ive had, my aim is much better with it. on aim training with fribergs settings i hit 92 out of 100 with this pad, new personal reccord.
with the xtrfy pad, qck+ and razer gigantus im around 86ish.

the pad has a really nice speed with the best stop ive tried so far.

worth to mention is that i dont have the black g640.

I have this one https://www.komplett.se/product/907515/gaming/gamingmoss-tangentbord/musmatta/noobwork-g640-gaming-musmatta#

dont know if there are any differences between this and the black one. But i think so

it fits me extremley well and im gonna buy a couple more

Edit: pads ive tried are: SteelSeries S&S, steelseries 9hd, qck+ qpad ct, xtry xtp1, razer gigantus,

g640 is the one i perform best with,. with the xtrfy at 2nd place.

imo its a really good pad and u should try it out. very easy to do fine adjustments with.
