Oh interesting! I am a part-time professional SSD reviewer and have done over 100 articles and reviews in the last year. To those who are interested I thought I would share some of my thoughts on doing this.
One of the main challenges I have faced is being confident in my content. In the beginning, no matter how much I wrote, I always feel like I could have done something different or better. Because of that I felt like I always under delivered. It wasn't until recently that I have started to gain confidence in my work, although, it is still nerve-racking when an article publishes and you realize that your review can heavily influence so many peoples decisions. Not only that, there is always a possibility that you made a mistake and completely goofed up your analysis or even whole review because of it.
Knowledge and experience will definitely help you in doing reviews. In the last year I have gained more knowledge and experience in storage than I could have ever dreamed of. However, it is great if you can always get input from someone else on your material. It helps give you ideas on what to focus on and allow you to write a more refined analysis for your target audience.
With that said, I look forward to seeing the results of this initiative. If you need any support for storage reviews feel free to contact me.
