THE MASTERCASE 5 SERIES OWNERS CLUB

At heart, the MasterCase 5 advocates a new relationship that binds component makers and users closer together. Its elegantly smooth, flexible FreeForm Modular System supports multiple outlooks, allowing you to upgrade rather than entirely replace your case as your needs change over time. Go with either basic dual top handles and standard door of the MasterCase 5 or an elevated mesh top cover of the MasterCase Pro 5.

This looks very promising. I am looking for a mid tower case to replace my HAF X. I do love my HAF X but it's too big right now. I only have a single GPU and it looks like a monster next to my wife's Bitfenix Prodigy. Once more parts are available for this I will definitely put it on my list to consider even more.

The MasterCase 5 in comparison to a HAF X is much shorter with the same ability to cram everything you had in your HAF X :)

The MasterCase Maker 5 has an ETA sometime in the next quarter. The nice thing about our MasterCase 5 is that you can get the PRO and upgrade to the MAKER by getting the additional accessories if you're so inclined. As of right now the only difference from the PRO and the MAKER are the front and top covers.

I was not fan of previous Cooler Master cases except my ex case CM 690 and Cosmos Pure... special I didn't like HAF series, Storm, etc but these new cases are really nice, different style than previous, modern, I like them, really nice case for water cooling loop.
These holders look nice and it's very useful when you move case because cleaning, etc...
If you want clean case you need to move out once every month to clean with duster before dust become harder for cleaning.

Hi there,

All the cases come with a bracket allowing you to mount up to 3 fans in the front, however you will not be able to use the 5.25" drive bays with the top one in place.

In the Paul's hardware video he said that max rad space is 40mm including fans. I also see in the specs it says 40mm without fans. So am I reading correctly that max rad thickness is 15mm adding on a standard 25mm fan would equal 40? That can't be right. I can't even think of a rad that thin.

H100I GTX fits without issue and has plenty of clearance. Lots of 240MM or 280MM rads will fit.

Yeah I had seen some AIO's installed in it. I just don't understand the spec sheet saying 40mm without fans. Basically I'm wanting to put 2 of these in the system. Up top and in front. I would like to think a basic 240mm rad would fit fine.

CM had a demo system with very similar radiators setup. I think you're golden. My review is going to actually feature front radiator clearance and top radiator clearance with an AIO.

Yeah man, if you have any other questions or anything you want me to test out, let me know.

Some quick notes:

Awesome paint job
Great build quality (but CM flagship cases have always been built to survive the apocalypse) throughout. The feet are solid, the handles are solid. The side panels were designed cleverly.
Really clean looks that offer ability to be customized to pretty much any rig.
The bottom chamber is cleverly designed and has a lot of potential in watercooling rigs.
The windowed side panel is very nice and the window itself is well-made and doesn't scratch easy. It does have a glazing, though, that makes it so that bright LED's have a smudge when showing through, rather than being seen cleanly
