Does the Cooler Master Mastercase Maker 5 support 12" x 10.7" motherboards like the Asus Rampage V Edition 10 x99? Please tell me it does.... Also, if it supports the Asus RVE the Riser Card Holder is a must. thumb.gif

NVM, RVE will not fit. Pass.

I think it actually will according to this Twitter post...

https://twitter.com/nikjankov/status/677841215564443648

And I would like to know more about the riser card holder also and if/when this will be available.

I'm guessing it would fit but I would probably have to pull the cables through before installing the motherboard to make it easier. I believe that MSI board measures at 12" x 10.4" while the RVE measures at 12" x 10.7".

He says he's gonna try, but that was back in December of 2015 (7 months ago). Any word from him about this?

Yes, that board shown does measure 10.4" whereas the RVE is slightly bigger at 10.7". The second pic on that twitter link shows a bigger board though, but as you say you'd have to bring the 24-pin through before installing the motherboard, and it would be squeezed. It looks possible though. You could actually remove the rubber grommet, as the hole is a bit bigger than it appears with that in place.

@DADDYDC650@atomicus
I posted a pic of R5E in Mastercase here long before. It fits in the case but covers a little bit grommet. U need pass ur cable through before u put ur MB. And u dont need to remove rubber grommet unless u want to fit R5E10 inside.

This is in my Air 540. As u can see the grommet for ATX is half covered by MB.

It is the same in the Mastercase 5

It will be a little difficult to pass cable throw this small space, but an EATX can be used in this case.

For those who think a bout putting 360 rad in the front of the case:
Maker 5 has 80 mm clearance in the front of the case.
It can fit ATX MB or up to 27.2 cm MB like R5E which will cover half rubber grommet and 60 mm rad in the front.
I have R5E (10.7 inch) and EK predator 360 (around 70 mm thick) in this case
Here is a pic of my case (bad cam and the light bar is too strong

@CM-Patrick

I noticed the EU store has the new Maker I/O (http://www.cmstore.eu/spare-parts/mcx-0005-i-o-panel/) on sale as well just carrying more components from the new Maker case.

Any chance I can bother you for a quick ETA on the new I/O on the US store side?

Thanks wink.gif

The Maker 5... can hold up to 27.3 cm MB...
I have R5E (10.7 inch)... in this case.
Thanks for this info.
I've quoted the R5E & R5E10 relevant info of your post only as it's the same size as the RVE10 (272mm wide) and not many ATX cases will accommodate this width. It hasn't been clear whether the Maker 5 would truly accommodate a motherboard this wide,

Thanks again.

Sorry, I mean u can put E-ATX inside the case, not officially support it.
