BSEL overclock Dell Optiplex 755 SFF with Q6600

So i managed to BSEL my 755/Q6600 it´s running like a clock at 3GHZ/1333FSB surfing and light stuff, when i start a CPU intensive task on the other hand - it will blue screen with a minidump BCCode 124. Every time i start Handbrake it will start transcoding a few seconds later it will Blue screen... I have god temps... My only guess is V-core needs more juice...

I have seen people do a setFSB successfully so why is my BSEL mod giving me trouble? I have tried one and two tape BSEL both works until i´m stressing the CPU then Blue screen.

0x124, usually points to a QPI/VTT voltage not being high enough, not sure if that option is available to change with the dell you have. Pretty sure 3.0 GHz needs around 1.2725v-1.3125v. I had stability issues when just increasing the CPU clock of a Intel Core 2 Quad to 3.0 GHz. Can also be northbridge voltage not high enough.

Sadly dell wont let me change anyting even related to v-core... The stange thing is indivuduals claim they done it on usf (ultra small form factor)

Some of my ram reports problem in memtest - could it be a factor?

Increasing the FSB also alters the memory clock, so I doubt that the ram would be faulty in a way. It could be unstable ram clocks though. To attempt to fix unstable ram overclock you can increase Ram voltage by a very slight bit, and increase RAM timing such as from 5-5-5-15 to 6-6-6-18 or 7-7-7-21. Increase of the north bridge / QPI/VTT voltage would help with this issue too, but unfortunately you cannot alter those settings with the motherboard you have. Unless someone has modded the bios and has a unlocked bios file.

is a BSEL a pin mod or just setfsb?

In theory it should be possible to volt mod the board in conjunction with BSEL/setFSB. the volt mod section might be able to spot the chip to modded with enough hi resolution photos of the board given the numbers on the chips in the photos are visible.
