[Build Log] Wall mounted AMD PC (videos will be made too!)

Right now this build is at the very beginning stages.

I'm building a new PC for my dad because his Asus laptop is getting pretty old and hot. So since I had some parts laying around, I offered to build him a new computer. He was actually the one with the idea to wall mount it, and after a bit of research I have decided to start!

Parts list:
  • AMD FX-8370E
  • MSI 970 Gaming
  • 8gb of Crucial Ballistix tactical ram
  • Corsair H80i
  • Thermaltake 500w TR2
  • ...evga geforce 610 (Ill explain this down there vv)
  • Storage is a no go for now! Ill be getting that soon because its the only part I don't have!

Well i think right off the bat you're going to ask....HEY WHATS UP WITH THAT 500W PSU?!!111!??!111!?

Just kidding

Anyways yes, the only open GPU I have is an Nvidia geforce 610, but hey that will change. The only reason Im using it is because my R9 270 doesn't work correctly due to power delivery issues. SOO I have a nice way to jerryrig that, which I will leave as a surprise tongue.gif

Alright so here you can kindof see the way I want to mount things. I will have to move either the MOBO or PSU to make room for that thick 120mm radiator.... I was thinking of moving the PSU down to the bottom. LMK what you guys think!

Alright, day 2 of the "Planning" stage. Although I do plan to make some cuts today.

I decided that the rad for the H80i will have to be mounted vertically, probably with some brackets, due to the fact that the tubes are too short. If it becomes too much of a hassle ill probably just buy a Hyper 212 evo.

Here is a picture of the decided layout. With some placeholder parts (Broken mobo, laptop HDD and IDE HDD)

OH also, heres the little ghetto cover I want to do for the GPU:

The ugly little 610

The R9 270 (REFERENCE) next to the 610.... you can see where im going here yessir.gif

AAANNNNNND We have finished with the cable holes.

That's about it for now. Next should be trying to find ways to mount everything actually on the board, and maybe some sanding...but that's not exciting
