Is there a way to disable Win 10 automatic updating?

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

So I just updated to Win 10 and found a way to disable automatic driver updates but I can't find a way to stop it from automatically downloading and installing windows updates. Is there something I'm missing?

As well, anyone getting freezing with the OS where everything becomes unresponsive and then suddenly all commands given during the unresponsiveness all happens at once?

Thanks.

No, there's no way to do disable it. Some say that you can do it by making your Device Installation Settings match these below, but even then it doesn't work for most people:

("Replace generic device icons with enhanced icons" is simply my preference - you don't have to copy this setting)

So what I'm saying is, don't expect this to work.
